Let's talk REDD

The story goes on. We are still dancing to tunes and songs played by the so called WAKUBWA! Reduced Emission through Decreasing forest Degradation (REDD) is another scheme by WAKUBWA to escape their responsibilities. What is needed is for them to STOP emitting CO2 immediately. But poverty minded African leaders are being allured by easy cash available in REDD. Almighty God please help us.

I have heard the same from environmental groups and recently the global commons; aligning the current monetary system with sustainability indicators. Meaning, a total redirection (at least short term) of economic benefit into the hands of ''nature stewards''. I really like the sound of this but is it feasible? No. Should this complexity then encourage corporations to maintain their current production systems with creation of models that simply deter the focus of the solutions measures?Of course not! But, complex problems sometimes require complex solutions and may be it is the complexity in dealing with the current climate issues that make this a no-ground issue.

Huu mpango wa carbon credit and business una walakin.
