Melody ya wimbo wa Taifa la Tanzania, inafafana kabisa na nyimbo za Taifa za Zambia na A. Kusini.

    Hivi nani alimwigilizia mwenzake?

Tanzania was the first African nation to use the popular African song "God Bless Africa" as its anthem, in 1961 when it was Tanganyika, and was retained after union with Zanzibar in 1964. It is now also used by South Africa (as part of the current anthem) and Zambia (with different words), and formerly used by Zimbabwe, Ciskei, and Transkei.

It was the days of pan africanism, the song was composed in 1847 by Enoch Satonga called Nkosi Sikeleli Africa, it was officially recorded in 1923 and was mainly an ANC anthem, Tanzania adopted the theme in 1961 and was the first to use it as its national anthem, followed by zambia and zimbabwe (zimbabwe changed its anthem in the 90s) , changing a few words but leaving the same context (God bless africa..)
