Total cost of ownership of High Speed Railway systems is generally lower than the total costs of competing alternatives (new highway or air capacity).




Well-established high speed rail systems in use today are more environmentally friendly than air or road travel. This is due to:
  • displaced usage from more environmentally damaging modes of transport.
  • lower energy consumption per passenger kilometer
  • reduced land usage for a given capacity compared to motorways
Jamani mpaka sasa hata ile Reli waliyochangia kujenga mababu zetu kwa mijeledi na mkoloni imetushinda….. Hivi kweli tunashindwa kuinvest kwenye hili jambo ili kupata miundombinu inayoeleweka……..

Jamani kabla hatujaboresha miundombinu ya kuweza kumfanya mkulima bidhaa zake zifike mjini kwa urahisi kilimo pekee kinakuwa hakimnufaishi mkulima huyo.... Inabidi iwe rahisi kwa bidhaa kumfikia mlaji, na sio kutegemea private transport ya wafanyabiashara kufikisha bidhaa mijini hence mfumuko wa bei

Hakuna katika serikali ya sasa mwenye nia ya dhati kutupunguzia adha tunazozipitia Jan - December.
Wanawekeza kwenye majengo marefu katikati ya mji bila kujua kwamba wanazidisha tatizo.

Miaka ya nyuma wafanyabiashara wa pamba waliweza kukodi behewa lenye uwezo wa kubeba mabelo 100 kwa gharama kati ya sh 300,000 na sh. 600,000 to Mwanza hadi Dar. Leo hii usafiri wa barabara unagharimu kati ya sh 1,200,000 na sh 1,800,000 kwa idadi hiyo ya mabelo. Kaka usitarajie muujiza kutokea chini ya utawala huu

Wacha tujenge flyovers kwanza ukufikiria treni wakati mabasi ya kwenda kasi mwaka wa kumi na zaidi inazungumzwa. Magufuri kaliwekea flyovers priority mpaka hela itakapoitoa ngoja wajenge tuone
Hapa issue kwangu ni faida (return on investment) flyovers zitawanufaisha wakazi wa dar (na wachache wenye tenda 10%) lakini labda kungekuwa na alternative ya kufanya (ofisi zote sisiwe centre ya mji kuzitawanya ili watu wote wasiwe wanakwenda sehemu moja au kuwe na bus lanes na mabasi makubwa ya abiria kupunguza msongamano).

Reli ni muhimu sana na ni cheaper hata kama ya abiria hatuwezi basi hata ya mizigo tuitawanye Tanzania nzima na iwe ni ya kasi kuweza kusambaza bidhaa za mkulima kwa kasi na kwa bei nafuu pia Tanzania nzima..... hata yule mkazi wa dar anakuwa anafaidika kwa huduma kama vyakula kumfikia kwa bei nafuu.

Aisee.. hilo swala la msingi sana nchi zote zilizoendelea zinafanya jitihada kubwa sana kuendeleza treni especiall hizi ziendazo kasi.. lakin sisi hata zile za mkoloni zinatushinda. mi nadhani treni ni suluhisho la msingi sana na nadhani sio expensive sana kama kujenga flyovers

High speed trains ni jambo jema sana kuwepo nchini kwetu. Hili lingeondoa tatizo la usafiri na gharama ya usafiri ingepunguua kabisa. Lakini high speed trains zinahitaji umeme wa uhakika. Tanzania tuna umeme wa uhakika? Umeme wenyewe wa majumbani unatushinda sembuse wa high speed trains?
