Kwa bandari hii mpya ya Lamu, TPA ijifunge mkanda

Serikali ya Kenya imewekeza pesa nyingi kujenga bandari ya Lamu ambayo itakapo kamilika itakua ya pili kwa ukubwa katika ukanda huu wa bandari ya hindi ikiongozwa na ile ya Durban S.A

Hapo awali competitor mkubwa wa bandari ya Dar es Salaam ilikua ni bandari ya Mombasa, ujio wa bandari hii utaongeza ushindani zaidi kwa bandari yetu kubwa ya Dar es Salaam.

Ili kukabiliana na ushindani huu, TPA haina budi kuongeza nguvu katika kufanya maboresho makubwa katika bandari ya Tanga na ikiwezekana serikali iresume ujenzi wa bandari ya Bagamoyo tu kwani Tanzania ina geographical advantage kwa nchi za DRC, Rwanda,Uganda na Burundi ukilinganisha na Kenya.

 
Unajua bandari ya Mombasa iko hatihati kuchukuliwa na Wachina katika suala zima la mkopo wa SGR Mombasa - Nairobi. Sasa kwa bandari hii ya Lamu Uhuru kawapiga dobo Wachina. SGR ya Kenya inaonekana haifanyi faida kama walivyotarajia, na hivyo Wachina kuelekea kuchukua bandari ya Mombasa kulingana na masharti ya Mkataba wa kujenga SGR. Nadhani sasa mtaelewa kwa nini kwetu Wachina walipotaka kujenga bandari ya Bagamoyo walisema sharti ni kwamba isijengwe bandari mpya au kuendeleza zilizopo!

Sikuwahi kumpenda Magufuli kwa namna yake ya uongozi, lakini kwa hili la bandari ya Bagamoyo nilimuunga mkono kwa 110%. Kuna wajinga fulani eti nao ni viongozi wetu wanataka kuwarudia Wachina kufufua mradi wa Bandari Bagamoyo.

The Auditor General reveals that the assets of Kenya Ports Authority were used as collateral for the Sh363.96 billion Standard Gauge Railway loan.

In a report tabled in Parliament, the Auditor General reveals officially for the first time that Kenya waived its immunity in the event of a legal dispute linked to default of servicing the loan.

Hizo ni propaganda za mwenda zake !!eti isijengwe bandari nyingine wala kuendelezwa kwa ukanda huo!!kwani hii ya bagamoyo ki majukumu/shughuri zake ingekuwa ina husiana vipi na hizo bandari nyingine?kwani hiyo ya bagamoyo kazi yake kubwa ni kuwa mizigo yote itakayokuwa inatoka kwenye viwanda china, itakuwa inaletwa na meli kubwa sana hapo , ndio meli ndogo zinaichukulia hapo na kuipeleka sehemu mbalimbali afrika!!na zingine zitakazo kuwa zinazarishwa hapo, zinatawanywa kwa njia hiyo.sasa hapo bandari hizo ninaathiri nini??kimajukumu tu hazihusiani.Hiyo bandari itajengwa tu ngoja ukweli uwekwe wazi!!
