A group calling itself “We Save Uganda Now (SUN)” says it has officially launched a guerrilla war to end the 30-year rule of President Yoweri Museveni.
“We have begun efforts to free our Uganda from tyranny,” the group’s commander a one “Maji Moto” said.
“We all know that constitutionalism died a long time ago and was finally laid to rest on the 19th February 2016. May its soul not rest until constitutionalism is restored.”
SUN has also claimed responsibility of the March 5,2016 attack on a police station in Kapchorwa district.
The attack happened after 12:15am as coordinated by “two platoons of commandos” from the guerrilla group.
