Utafiti unaonesha kuwa kuchutama ni njia sahihi ya kwenda haja kutokana na faida zifuatazo:

  • Inafanya uchafu kutoka kirahisi na kwa ukamilifu. Hii huzuia kinyesi kubaki ndani kitu ambacho hutajwa kama chanzo kikuu cha kansa, kidole tumbo na matatizo mengine.
  • Inazuia neva za kibofu cha mkojo, korodani na kizazi kutanuka na kuharibika.
