Kenya to give Uganda land in Naivasha to built their dry port

Uganda already has deals with Tz for a SEA port at tanga next to their oil jetty. Uhuru is just trying to entice M7 while he has many options

You're useless idiot, so unataka wapewe port Kisumu ama Malaba na SGR haijafika huko? When Nairobi built dry port did it mean that SGR haijafika Naivasha? This port is just for the time being when other phases are still built. The day SGR itafika Kisumu watapewa port huko pia. Meanwhile you can read the writings on Suswa station hili ujue where our SGR will terminate before taken by UG
Why would UG require a port in naivasha if kenya will build sgr to malaba/kisumu? This is an admission that naivasha ndio mwisho wa reli

Nairobi dry port has always been there and its purpose is to distribute cargo to the hinterland of kenya(central, eastern, north).
Sgr mwisho ni naivasha from there any country can pick their cargo including Uganda😃😃😃..
Tz has already given m7 Tanga port, his SGR is going directly to mwanza without asking m7 for 'joint' development.
M7 has many options, he does not require naivasha

How many containers does Museveni import?
I've told you many times but you don't listen. Until the day tectonic movements push your ports closer to Kampala than Mombasa already is, 99% of businessmen will always chose Kenya.
We already have their market, we're just making movement and clearing easier for them.

For clearing you empty head.
You think cargo will pass through Kenya direct to Uganda without clearance?
Cargo is cleared at the port of destination( as per bill of landig) URA has not complained of slow clearance infact they have an office at mombasa and have contracted many CFS to store their cargo in custom bonded WH pending their clearance..
There is no clearance problem

Businessmen have complained of slow movement at the port. Cargo sometimes gets stuck for weeks.
We want to please businessmen, not URA.

A gok taskforce determined that SGR is uncomptetive, ugandan business men just like their kenyan counterpart detest the SGR due to high costs and inconvinience this is public knowledge

Cargo stays 5 days at the port maximum..That is the most efficient port in EAC, if M7 is looking at efficiency, then adding another port(Naivasha) is just counter productive due to double handling, extra lay days and more paperwork.
The issue is if cargo reaches Kisumu port or Mwanza port then thats a big advantage to UG.. Currently They are using the old meter line to kampala(cheap but slow) and would not accept an almost 100% hike on price just to ship to naivasha

The SGR is meant to last 100 years. In less than 10, it will have likely reached Kampala.
We're talking long term projects.
Containers direct from the ship to the tracks for handling in Naivasha.
