I remember the day Kenyan troops crossed the border into Somalia and I remember how many people in Kenya and around Africa were sceptical of Kenya's success.

The mission in Somalia was declared a failure before it even begun. Why?

1. America (THE) Superpower had tried this game before and it failed miserably

2. Kenyan troops were regarded as the weakest in the region because they have never been battle tested-According to Museveni

So the world waited with bated breath, the massacre of Kenya troops by Alshabaab...That never happened.

Instead, the world was shocked when KDF captured one town after another without even firing a single shot.

What shocked many even more was that KDF was in no rush to move past the towns they captured.

Once they captured a town, they stayed there, set a local system of governance, dug water wells etc before moving on to the next town. As KDF moved along,Kenyans got daily updates on twitter-Major Chirchir and weekly press briefings by Cyrus Oguna T.V crews were embedded on some of the missions.

If that strategy had continued,KDF would have accomplished their mission in Somalia and come back home.

WHAT WENT WRONG AFTER THE CAPTURE OF KISMAYU?

KDF rehatted into Amisom which for nearly a DECADE was stuck in a stadium in Mogadishu. The mission in Somalia is failing for lack of COMMAND.

Right now Kenyans want answers on what happened in Somalia Yesterday and we forget that The answers are supposed to come from Amison HQ in Mogadishu and DoD in Nairobi.

My appeal to President UHURU KENYATTA is;
-Pull out of Amisom with immediate effect
-Address the nation and explain why you pulling out Amison..Kenyans will be willing TO FOOT THE BILL if;
(A) Prevents/reduces the number of Kenyan casaulties
(B) Brings about long lasting stability to JUBALAND.

This is war and casualties come with it and Mr President when Kenyan troops are killed, stop whatever you're doing and pay some respects. I remember the attack that killed nearly two hundred Kenyan troops last year. You were vacationing at the Coast and you went on with your vacation unpurtubed.

If the US or any other nation had lost that many soldiers in one day,a national day of mourning would be declared, with the names of the dead and missing made public.

None of that happened and instead you said that they will be honoured at the BARRACKS..and no names of the dead or missing have been made public.

WHAT IS OUR GOVERNMENT HIDDING?
CHANGE TACTIC NOW TO AVOID ALL THE CARNAGE OF OUR SOLDIERS IN SOMALIA..

Amisom ni Bs We cant use our jets unless some Ugandan General in mogadishu Allows we cat invade a region unless someone in Mogadishu allows

We need to get out of that shit bana

The Ceel Cadde attack was known, but the commanders were slow!! The army has to follow the orders and this orders are skewed!! KDF Has to go it alone!!

Some of you are reasoning like kids. Eti let's go back to operation linda nchi. A false sense of nostalgia. KDF fell into a well known trap. Al shabaab paved way for Kenya so as to launch an extensive guerilla campaign. Remember the battle for Mogadishu when al shabaab faced Amisom in a conventional warfare, the casualties on both sides were quit high. But the EU/American funded Amisom had an upper hand in teams of armored personel vehicles, tanks, warplanes. So al shabaab changed tactics to live & fight another day.

Facts remain the same when kenya was handling its own missionwe didnt have a single casualty

Hata kismayu we took kismayu Saa Nane za Usiku In total Darkness without a single casualty

But as soon as Kenya ReHatted to AU and Amisom and Deactivated Operation Linda nchi We started losing soldiers

Kenyan Soldiers are getting their orders fro Burundi and Ugandan Generals in Mogadishu instead of Nairobi

Secondly we gave stopped using majority of our arsenals all our ships are back all jets zimelala kule laikipia mpaka special order for airstrike itokee mogadishu

KDF should get out of Amisom and conduct its own mission ....USA doesnt participate in AU MISSIONS anymore it goes on its own ....pia britain ....

We can fund the war but some Cartels cannot allow their Open taps to go dry juu tukitoka amisom EU will not be Funding KDF but Jubilee admin will we spend 2.64bn$ annually on security and KDF inapewa like 250mn$ for its mission in Somalia annually ...

The thing is
Kenya is the largest supplier of food material clothing etc to amisom in somalia and oulling out will compromise some big politicians busines ya ku supply amisom Juice na Maji somalia .....

KDF need to conduct its own mission or Come back to Kenya and Protect our border cause so far kenya is safe since the Garisaa attack ....

But somalia is turning worse

Meaning People within Kenya are working over time in somalia soldiers are lying idle waiting for orders from Mogadishu ......that is why we get attacked

Lack of transparency
NIS kila saa yasema it had the intell on the attack but they have to pass it from
NIS -DOD (NAI)- DOD /UN(MOG)-AMISOM- COMPANIES : before this info reaches the soldiers on the ground about an imepending attack ISHA FANYIKA!!

I will say something I have commented before aomewhere else b4.... this is what we should do, we should fight dirty just like alshabaab, you see alshabaab is always thinking new ways to kill,people.... and thats exactly what we should do to them, , by now we should be sending donkeys packed with explosives to there hideouts and blowing them up (its just a thought, i love animals, i have nothing against them)

Here is how we leave somali in peace and rebuilding process...
No (1)... start massive training of somali soldiers and police who will be used to police pasified areas....

2) Withdraw regular KDF troops from remote bases, and leave only a few major bases like the one in kismayu, Afmadho... as part of our commitment to amisom... bring the refular troops back to kenyan soil and let them build parmanent concrete bases along the border and be tasked with everyday and night patrols in intervals along the whole stretch, after the fence is built, they will be the onse patrolling along the fence everyday....

3) Bring all the special forces from the navy (CDU), Airforce(QRF) and army (SOF, RSF) under one central command, then deploy specOps units all over south and central somalia, these units will be working outside Amisom mandate, Using ISR platform like the Airtractors, drones and also using human intel and reconissance units, the specOpse units mission and goal will be to degrade alshabaab so much they would be scared to shit! some units tasked with hunting down IED and bomb makers, some other units assasinate only high value targets by any means nessesary, some other units will be tasked to making sure alshabaab bever trains any new recruits, that means whenever there is a gathering of alshabaab group somewhere, you strike them hard, that also means mapping out all forests that are suspected of biebg shebab hideouts and constantly spying on them by running search patterns from newly acquired spy planes...... nowadays through amisom we just patrol streets hoping to come by alshabaab, as opposed to hunting them down, house to house if need be..... special forces are well prepared to hunt them down one by one town after town ........... The special forces be given anything the want, all the resouces they need to complete the mission, be it new amoured vehicles, pickup tructs mounted with 50cal, more helicopters, more drones anything it doeant matter if we will spend a cool $800million on them just buying special forces equipment..... the only condition will be they will have 8-12 months to achieve their objective! there will be no extenstion, because after 12 months they will be leaving somalia whether they achieved the mission or not, they will be leaving somalia to a larger somali army and police.... and thats how we exit somalia ina better place to rebuild itself.....

lakini tukiendelea hivi, waiting for Amisom to come up with next course of action, we will still be in somali in 2020, Amisom made us lazy, when we start using our money to run missions we will feel the pinch of why we need to do things quickly and end the mission and get out as soon as possible.
