Katika neno Credit (Cr) inaleta mantiki, sasa herufi "r" inatokea wapi katika neno Debit (Dr)? Wataalam wa Accountancy levels zote tunaomba ufafanuzi

Ni hivi CR stands for CREDIT RECORDS na DR stands for DEBIT RECORDS.. Haziko hivyo kama unavyodhania wewe kijana.
CPA (T), ACCA na CIMA.

Historia ya uhasibu inaonyesha kwamba Dr na Cr zilikuwa zilitumia na wafanyabiashara katika kutunza mahesabu yao. Debits zilikuwa kwa ajili ya kurekodi debtors(wadai). Debts were debtors and abreviated as Dr. kwa hiyo Dr oringinally ni Debtors. Ni hivyo pia kwa Cr sio kwamba r inawakilisha r ya Credit,Big No. It is abbrevated from Creditor-Cr. Hayo ni mambo ya karne ya 18 huko
Nilifikiri uzi ungeishia hapa

The terms debit (DR) and credit (CR) have Latin roots: debit comes from the word debitum, meaning "what is due," and credit comes from creditum, meaning "something entrusted to another or a loan."

When it comes to the DR and CR abbreviations for debit and credit, a few theories exist. One theory asserts that the DR and CR come from the Latin past participles of debitum and creditum, which are debere and credere, respectively.

Another theory is that DR stands for "debit record" and CR stands for "credit record."

Finally, some believe the DR notation is short for "debtor" and CR is short for "creditor"

Hopefully this will answer your question!
Tufunge uzi jamani

Dr ni sawa na Dis-credit synonym yake ndiyo Debit. Hapo kwenye Dis- credit si unaona hiyo D na r.

No. Debtors ni wadaiwa tuliowauzia vitu kwa mkopo
Example; Asha sells furnitures on credit to Amina.
Hapo Asha katika vitabu vyake Amina atakuwa Debtor wake kwa sababu bado anamdai pesa aliyomuuzia furniture kwa mkopo
Na Amina kwenye vitabu vyake atamuandika Asha Kama creditor wake, yani mdai wake aliyenunua vitu kwake kwa mkopo.

Kwa undani zaidi ukifungua Journal entry ndio utaona vizuri

There are a lot of therories as towhy 'CR' and 'DR' is used for Credit and Debit ,

One theory states that the DR and CR come from the Latin past participles of debitum and creditum which are "debere" and "credere", respectively. Another theory is that DR stands for "debit record" and CR stands for "credit record".Some even believe the DR notation is short for "debtor" and CR is short for "creditor".

Luca Pacioli, the father of bookkeeping, used the words debere (to owe) and credere (to entrust).

That was the first time the use of these words was recorded. When his work was translated, the latin words debere and credere became the English Debit and Credit.

Thus, the abbreviations Dr (debit) and Cr (credit) are most likely derived from the original Latin.
