HOW TWO RECENT PUBLIC STATEMENTS ARE SLOWLY SEEKING TO DEFINE MAMA JOYCE BANDA AND HER BRAND OF POLITICS BEYOND MALAWIAN ENCLAVES

Soon after I had read second article to be released by Malawi's 'Nyasa Times' over the ongoing disharmony on who owns what in lake Malawi, the realities at common law so deliberately being given a cold solder, one fact most loudly stands out crying of new Malawian leaader than anyone else down there can ever try to hide from superior minds out there to feast following her second public statement in a span of less than two weeks over ragging row.

In a sense, what seems to be undeniably coming out of the neighbouring Malawi's Queen is that Mama Joyce Banda is but a mere political entertainer who would stop at nothing say anything that a crowd before here nose would seek to bellow at with an unimaginable levels of ecstacy, a sheer town-crier, crowd pleaser and a potentially promising female leader in our continent but who listens to rather too many voices on an issue yet all facts shall indeed remain solid as they stand to-date.

Ndio, as my mind could certainly most coperatively give me, an utmost sincerity and speedier diplomacy are unpreventably the only sure window path to pursue here and our eyes are wide cast today on the matter than yesterday.

Malawi President Joyce Banda on Saturday made an emotional declaration that she shall die for the sake of her country, in what others see as a defiant insinuation to the threats of war by Tanzania on the ownership of Lake Malawi.
Speaking at a Ngoni traditional festival in the northern district of Mzimba on Saturday, Banda said emphatically in unrelated to the function: "I shall die for the people of Malawi. I shall die for the land of Malawi."
The Malawi leader has not commented on the row with Tanzania.

"When these boundaries were agreed upon by the British and Germans it was a give and take game we need access to the sea. May be they could give us an equivalent piece of land to take us to the sea."

My advice to president kikwete is please focus on deloping tanzania. U have enough resources to do so. Leave malawi alone. Malawians are good people, asking for war is premitive and islamic.

Tunaisaidia Malawi kwa mengi sana. Bidhaa zao zote kuanzia mafuta hadi bidhaa za matumizi ya kawaida zinategemea bandari ya Dar es Salaam na bandari ya nchi kavu Mbeya. Leo analeta jeuri. Likifumuka la kufumuka hapo mpakani ni wananchi wake ndiyo watakaotaabika. Wamalawi wanaounga mkono upuuzi wa rais wao ni wehu sana maana wanashindwa kupima madhara ya wao kugombana na Tanzania.

Sisi tuna bandari wala hatuitegemei nchi nyingine kuingiza bidhaa zetu. Wao hata wakijitia jeuri wapitishie Zambia still watahitaji kutumia bandari yetu. Wakitaka waende Msumbiji na South Africa basi halafu tuone nani atakula jeuri yake.

Kwanza kwanini tunamchelewesha? Ilifaa atunguliwe siku moja kwa batalioni zitakazojipanga kuanzia Mbamba Bay hadi Kyela. Halafu tunatangaza mkoa wa 30 baada ya Geita, Njombe na Katavi. Halafu miaka ya baadaye tutafikiria kuanzisha mikoa mipya ya Karonga, Mzuzu, Lilongwe na Blantyre.Halafu naona sana Watanzania watarajiwa wanavyotutukana kwenye mitandao yao.

Shauri yao, naona wanajisahahu kuwa si punde mji wao mkuu utakuwa Dodoma.

Mnaweza kumbeza yule Rais Mama Banda kwa jinsi mnavyotaka lakini maelezo yake aliyoyatoa au ambayo atapata kuyatoa yatakuwa sahihi na yanahakisi uzalendo wake kwa nchi yake na wananchi wake. Sisi Tanzania tumefanya maamuzi yanayolifanya Taifa hili kuwa shamba la bibi kwa wageni. Hamjui Loliondo kuna mwarabu amepewa mbuga ya wanyama toka zama za ruksa na leo yupo anabeba wanyama hai kwa nedege za kijeshi na kupeleka kwao licha kwamba sheria haziruhusu ndege za kijeshi kutua? Amewararu na kuwaua Wamsai ili waache kuchunga mifugo yao kwenye eneo alilomilikishwa. Walipotoa kilio chao wakaambiwa Wakenya. Amefikia hatua amefunga mtambo kwenye eneo hilo kaisi kwamba ukifika pale screen ya simu yako itabadilika na kusomeka kuwa umefika katika himaya ya nchi za kiharabu. Huu ndio uzalendo wenu Watanzania.

Hivi karibuni wanyama wetu wakiwa hai wakiwemo na twiga walitoroshwa mchana kweupe na kupelekwa Quarter. Serikali na vyombo vya usalama hawakuliona hili mpaka gazeti la kila week la RAIA MWEMA liliporipoti baada ya uchungi.Ndio uzalendo huu?

Twende kwenye sekta ya uvi madini na uvuvi kwenye maziwa yetu. Dhahabu inachimbwa na tunaambulia mrahaba wa 3%. Nasikia wataongeza mpaka 4 lakini si wataalamu wa TRA au mamlaka nyingine inayomonitor uzalishaji na kile kinachokuwa declared na makampuni from which hizo asilimia zinapigwa. Ndege zinaruka kila uchao zilikepeleka madini nje na TRA wanaishia kuweka seal. Halafu makampuni yote ya amadini yanapata msamaha wa kodi kwa vifaa na mafuta.Vitu vya ajabu. Gesi ni yetu na kampuni za nje zinachimba na kutuuzia.

Sasa kwa jinsi tulivyokuwa exposed namana hii unategemea nchi jirani wanaona uzalendo wetu hivyo kama yunavyotaka waamini? Nguvu zetu za kijeshi na kiitelijensia zinaishia kuipiga Malawi wakati mengine tumewaachia watu wanapora wanavyopenda? Tujiulize mara mbili tusiishie kujionyeha tuna uzalendo kupitia kwa ziwa Nyasa. Tunatakiwa tuonyeshe uzalendo kwenye mambo mengi ambayo tumejiachia na yawezekana ndio maana tunachokozwa na huyo mama ili tuokoe maliasili zetu na urithi mwingine ili tuwalipe vizuri madaktari na walimu na watumishi wengine wa umma

it is a shame that tanzania with all this land mass remains poor while other countries like kenya are getting rich. Tanzanians remain illiterate . That explains why politicians can easily misguide the population. Lets leave our fellow black malawians alone. Arabs sold us as slaves for many year. actually the illiteracy in tanzania is because@black tanzanians accepted arab traders to control the economy. But their days are numbered as black tanzanians open their eyes. Fighting with neighbors is an arab trick. They will even sell u weapons and treat your patients so they will steal more from you black man.. Time for arab influence is over.
