* Knowledge of Submarine cable system operation and Maintenance
* Detailed knowledge of data transmission system (SDH, fiber optic, Optical);

* 10-15 years experience as Manager of a telecommunication operation department, preferably in the submarine cable or transmission industry :
* Ability to deal from a general approach into the detail
* Ability to deal with executive level report/contacts of major organizations
* Skills and rigors in organization, management, technical. personal management, technical asset forecasting and budgeting
* Customer satisfaction and goals oriented
* Based in Mauritius Island with travels within East Africa
