A PARLIAMENT was halted as politicians blamed each other for a whiffy fart.
A lawmaker accused of pong-doing insisted: “I cannot do such a thing in front of my colleagues.”

Debating was delayed for ten minutes at Homa Bay county assembly in Kenya after a member proved politicians are full of more than just hot air

But the speaker ruled: “We cannot continue sitting in an environment that smells bad.”

He demanded air fresheners to be rushed to the chamber, saying: “Get whatever flavour you find in any office, be it vanilla or strawberry.”

He added: “Let the sergeant spray the air to make it pleasant.”

Debating was delayed for ten minutes on a hot day at Homa Bay county assembly in Kenya. MPs had been using sheets of paper as makeshift fans before the culprit let rip.

They had been discussing the lack of shade at market stalls when they switched to the more pressing matter of guff justice.

Fortunately the smell had cleared by the time officials were able to locate any air freshener.
