Umuofia kwenu,

Nimekutana na taarifa kutoka kwa taasisi ya Human Rights Tulip iliyo chini ya Serikali ya Uholanzi, wakitangaza kuwa mchakato wa kuwapata vinara wanaofahamika kama Watetezi wa Uhuru wa Maoni kwa mwaka 2017, umeshaanza.

Kwa sasa wametoa fursa ya kupendekeza majina ya watu wanaofaa kupatiwa tuzo, na mimi kwa utashi wangu kila nilipokuwa nalisoma hilo bandiko lao, kichwani namwona mkuu wetu Maxence Melo kuwa anafaa kabisa...

INSTRUCTIONS
The Human Rights Tulip is an award of the Dutch government for courageous human rights defenders who promote and support human rights in innovative ways. Please see www.humanrightstulip.nl for further information on the Award.

You can nominate organizations and individuals who you consider eligible for this award. You can also nominate yourself or your own organization. Nominations can be made by filling in the (online) nomination form below as complete as possible and sending it to
tulip@justiceandpeace.nl. All nominations need to be sent in before April 10th 2017.

Please make sure to present a referent/reference (a known / respected person that can support your nomination and whom we might contact for additional information).

Please be brief and concise in answering the questions below and make sure the length of the form does not exceed 6 pages.

Please be aware that the process of selecting the winner of the Human Rights Tulip will come with public visibility. Pre-selected nominations will be announced on our website www.humanrightstulip.nl for online voting, including a public summary of the work. The winner of the Human Rights Tulip will be invited to participate in several public events, including the award ceremony in the Netherlands on December 8th.
