Ivory Coast drop fighting players

Two players have been expelled from the Ivory Coast squad ahead of their encounter against Tanzania scheduled for Sunday after they were found guilty of fighting during a training session in Abidjan.

Former Monaco defensive midfielder Jean-Jacques Gosso Gosso, 30, who now plays in the Turkish Super League with Mersin and 20-year-old Abdul Razack of Manchester City, who is on loan to Charlton Athletic, had a bust-up on Wednesday during the team’s final training session.

The Cote D’Ivoire FA says other sanctions could follow depending on the decision of the body’s disciplinary committee.
