It is hypocritical for the US to call for others to abide by law and order while it is itself addicted to breaking law and order

While the American regime is blatantly violating all norms of international law, its President is urging people of the world including Tanzania to abide by "law and order" at a time when violent protests are sweeping through the US over police brutality and racial profiling of African Americans.

President Donald Trump in early May declared himself “your president of law and order” while peaceful protesters just outside the White House gates were dispersed with tear gas and flash bangs.

“My first and highest duty as president is to defend our great country and the American people,” Trump said, adding, “I swore an oath to uphold the laws of our nation and that is exactly what I will do.” How hipocritical.

As he made the remarks, crowds of American protesters gathered outside the White House gates while a large convoy of military vehicles was seen driving through the White House complex and onto Pennsylvania Avenue. Why the US regime, being so addicted to the infringement of international laws and norms, expects others to adhere to its' call for abiding to law and order is a million dollar question.

Since entering the Oval Office in 2016, US President Trump, a self-professed negotiator, has abandoned many international pacts and treaties that previous administrations had authorized.

The US under Trump has abandoned many international treaties.
Trump has withdrawn the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, the Open Skies treaty and many more. In May of 2018, Trump unilaterally abandoned the international nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), signed between Iran, the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China, and reinstated the anti-Iran sanctions, which had been lifted by the accord.

Under Washington’s pressure, the three European signatories to the JCPOA have so far failed to fulfill their contractual obligation to protect Tehran’s business interests against the sanctions.

On these grounds,America has no moral authority whatsoever to call for others to adhere to law and order.

If demonstrations were peaceful there could be no cause for concern but the problem is that the demonstrations have been hijacked by unruly gangs seeking to exploit them for their selfish interests.

It's hypocritical that some people would revel at the protests in other countries when they're strictly forbidden to hold any peaceful protests in their dictatorial countries.

However, turning the demonstrations into a recipe for fomenting lawlessness and chaos is not allowed in any civilised society and president Trump has genuine reason to redress such situation.

Unfortunately demonstrations in some countries, especially African, are only allowed provided they're called and organised by the regimes contrary to that the aftermath can be a genocide.
