A prisoner in an orange jumpsuit is forced to dig his own grave before he is beheaded in the latest shocking video from ISIS.

The video released by the terror group shows the man suspected of being a Syrian spy using a pick axe and shovel to dig a hole in the desert.

The heavily-choreographed footage - the latest in of a long line of gruesome beheading videos - appears to have been shot in Syria.

The prisoner, whose face and upper body are covered in cuts and bruises, is first made to speak to the camera 'admitting' his wrongdoings.

Speaking in Arabic, he says he is from Al-Qaryatayn, a town in central Syria, and describes his work as a spy.

He concludes: 'I killed Abu Hassan and the Islamic State came and captured me.'

The captive, who gives his name as Ziad Abdel'al Abu Tarek, is filmed walking barefoot in an orange jumpsuit across barren land to a pick axe and shovel, before digging the grave.

A white truck pulls up behind him bearing the recognisable black ISIS flag, and the footage then cuts to a shot of him kneeling on the ground in front of his executioner. The video also shows the aftermath of the barbaric killing.

Last week, shocking images emerged showing decapitated bodies strewn across blood-filled streets in Palmyra, close to Al-Qaryatayn after ISIS stormed the ancient city.

Assad pulls air force out of Deir ez-Zour, the third Syrian air base surrendered to ISIS
Just a week after losing the big Palmyra air base to the Islamic State ¨C and with it large stocks of ammo and military equipment - Syrian military and air units Wednesday, May 27, began pulling out of the big air base at Deir ez-Zour. This was Bashar Assad¡¯s last military stronghold in eastern Syria and the last air facility for enabling fighter-bombers to strike ISIS forces in northeastern Syria and the western Iraqi province of Anbar.
His surrender of the Deir ez-Zour base is evidence that the Syrian president has run out of fighting strength for defending both his front lines and his air bases. He is also too tied down to be able to transfer reinforcements from front to front. He is therefore pulling in the remnants of his army from across the country for the defense of the capital, Damascus.
debkafile¡¯s military sources report that the Islamic State now has in its sights the Syrian army¡¯s biggest air facility, T4 Airbase, which is located on the fast highway linking Homs with Damascus 140 km away.
It is home base for the bulk of the air force¡¯s fighters and bombers. In its hangars are an estimated 32 MiG-25 fighters, as well as smaller numbers of MiG-25PDS interceptors, designed for combat with the Israeli air force, MiG-25RBT bombers-cum-surveillance planes; MiG-25PU trainers, which are routinely used to strike rebel forces in crowded built-up areas, and advanced MiG-29SM fighter jets.
Stationed there too are 20 advanced Su-24M2 bombers, the strategic backbone of the Syrian air force.
T4 Airbase also holds the largest Syrian stocks of guided bombs, air-to-air and air-to-ground missile

In the last few hours, air crews have been frantically removing these warplanes from T4 and distributing them among smaller bases in central Syria, at the cost of their operational effectiveness.
In the space of a week, therefore, Bashar Assad has lost three of his major air bases, including Palmyra, where Iranian and Russian air freights had been landing regularly with fresh supplies of ordnance and spare parts for his army.
Our military experts say that this bonanza frees ISIS to cut off the eastern, northern and central regions from the capital, and deprive the Syrian and Hizballah units battling for control of the Qalamoun Mts of air support against rebel and Islamist forces.
If they manage to take T4 as well, the Islamists will be able to prevent US jets from taking off for strikes against them in Syria, or bombing the their forces which have seized long stretches of the fast highway from Homs to Damascus.

Islamic State videos featuring ‘Jihadi John’ Mohammed Emwazi were preceded by mock run of killing videos in which they were unharmed

ISIS defector called Saleh who witnessed executions by Jihadi John.
Foreign hostages captured by Islamic State were subjected to numerous mock beheadings and were unaware they were about to be killed, a former member of the jihadi group has said, offering an apparent explanation for why they seem so calm when reading statements to camera.

A former translator, “Saleh”, said in an interview with Sky News that he was employed by the group to convince foreign hostages they were safe, before they were killed in videos featuring Mohammed Emwazi, the 26-year-old radical known as “Jihadi John”.


Hostages such as the US journalist James Foley and the British aid worker Alan Henning appeared unafraid when they read messages on camera moments before they were murdered.

Speaking to Sky News from Turkey, Saleh said Emwazi ordered him to reassure the captives. “He would say to me ‘say to them, no problem, only video, we don’t kill you, we want from your government [to] stop attacking Syria. We don’t have any problem with you; you are only our visitors’.

“So they don’t worry. Always I say to them ‘don’t worry, doesn’t matter, nothing dangerous for you. But at the end I was sure [they would die].”

Saleh also confirmed that Emwazi is the man known as “Jihadi John”, adding that he witnessed Emwazi murder Japanese hostage Kenji Goto.
Saleh explained that Emwazi was employed as the chief killer of foreign hostages for Isis’s propaganda wing. His ruthless willingness to murder foreigners meant that he was feared and respected by others, Saleh added.


“Maybe because he use the knife,” he said. “I cannot understand why he is so strong. One man can kill and all people will respect. A Syrian man anyone [in Isis] can kill. But strangers [foreigners], only John.”

He said: “When he killed Kenji Goto I live showed this [saw this] but not near, from a little [distance].

“After he was killed him, three or four person come and take over the body and put in a car. After that, John went on a different road.

“The big boss was there with them. Turkish man say ‘put this camera there, change place there’ but John [was] the big boss. All time, all time say to all ‘fastly, fastly, fastly, we should finish’. So respect him. Only he talks orders – others do.”
