Huko Arusha umeambiwa Wanajeshi walitumika kulinda usalama katika operesheni maalum kwa sababu Polisi walikuwa na majukumu mengine. Nani amekuambia kuwa wao ndiyo wanasimamia sekta ya fedha? Guys,

We need to discuss this for the sake of our nation. There are some obvious indicators that our dear country is turning into something new that we have never experienced before - a fiscal-military system.

A fiscal-military state is a state that bases its economic model on the sustainment of its armed forces, usually in times of prolonged or severe conflict. Characteristically, fiscal-military states will subject citizens to high taxation for this purpose.

In the past, states such as Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden, which were embroiled in long-lasting periods of war for local or global hegemony, were organized as fiscal-military states. The British East India Company also employed military fiscalism in maintenance of rule in India in the mid-18th century. Colonial powers generated their revenue for the maintenance of the army.

Currently there are few states that could be described as fiscal-military states, which is probably due to the decline of large scale international conflicts in recent times. I hesitatingly include Tanzania in the list.

We must open our eyes wide and stay vigilant.. I am afraid to say the future is not exciting at all..

PS: If we have an economic issue, I strongly argue the authorities to declare it so that we can all take part in the fiight.. Fighting for our country!

Moja ya sifa kubwa mbaya ya mfumo huu ni kusababisha wananchi kukatwa kodi kubwa ili kuweza kuendesha shughuli hizo za kijeshi kwa ukamilifu.

Zipo sababu zinazoweza kupelekea nchi kuingia kwenye hali hii, lakini kubwa zaidi huwa ni vita ambazo huathiri sana mfumo wa uchumi. Zamani nchi kama Spain, Uholanzi na Sweden zililazimika kutumia dola katika kusimamia uchumi baada ya kuathiriwa na vita. Mifano ipo mingi ila hiyo itoshe!

Inaelezwa kuwa kwa sasa nchi nyingi duniani zinalazimika kutumia mfumo huu kutokana na kuwepo kwa migogoro mikubwa baina yao na Jumuiya za Kimataifa.. Nina mashaka hata hapa Tanzania tunaingia kwenye kutumia Jeshi kuendesha uchumi.

Tumeona, JWTZ wameanza kuhodhi Korosho na sasa kusimamia Maduka ya kubadilishia Fedha (Bureau De Change). Je, kipi kitafuata?

Isitoshe, Rais John Magufuli aliwahi kutangaza Tanzania kuingia kwenye Vita ya Kiuchumi. Je, ndio tumeanza rasmi mapambano?!

Kama tayari kuna mdororo wa kiuchumi, nashauri Mamlaka zitangaze rasmi ili sote kwa pamoja tuisaidie nchi kwenye mapambano haya..

Ni kweli na tayari wamevamia kama viwavi...niliposoma kichwa cha habari nilifungua haraka haraka lakini baada ya kuona umeweka tafsiri nikajua ohoo, nzi wote wa Lumumba wamepata upenyo na kweli wakafunika.

No. No. That was fake news which went around. Our economy is going strong and strong. No need for that. Let us support whatever efforts are there to take our economy to the next level. Soon we will see the fruits whose seeds we are all supposed to sow. After we finalize the challenges of electric power we will see wonders.

Do you see increase in taxes? to me, most of the current taxes have not changed even since the JK phase. I would rather argue that, in the current phase there has been signifcant efforts by the Government to ensure that every tax is being collected.
