An Iranian political analyst claimed last week that if a deal between Iran and the West over Iran's nuclear program had not been reached in Geneva, Iran would have annihilated Israel.

The comments by Mohammad Sadeq Al-Hosseini, a former political advisor to Iranian President Khatami, aired on Syrian News TV on December 11. They were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

In fact, said Al-Hosseini, had a deal not been reached in Geneva, President Barack Obama would have had to kiss the hands of Iran's supreme leader, --------- Ali Khamenei, and Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in order to prevent an Iranian attack on Israel.



"Believe me, President Obama tried five times to get a free handshake from President Rouhani, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly – and he failed," said Al-Hosseini.

"He (Obama) said: ‘I am prepared to discuss the issue of Bahrain, like Iran wants – but just give me that handshake,'" claimed Al-Hosseini.

"Obama had to make a great retreat. He was forced to accept a handshake from President Rouhani, whom he considered a kind of Gorbachev or Sadat, so that the day would not come when he would be forced to kiss the hands of Hassan Nasrallah and Imam Khamenei, so that they would hold their fire in the great war that was prepared to annihilate Israel," he further stated.

"All the operations... It has been revealed that our missiles can now very easily reach Tel Aviv. We have weapons that can make Israel go blind. Nasrallah, the leader of the resistance, managed to deliver a 17-minute speech, and the Israeli airplanes were unable to reach the southern suburb of Beirut, or to fly over Lebanon," claimed Al-Hoseeini.

"This is the first time that such a thing has happened. This means that we have a new strategic weapon in Syria, in Iran, and in the southern suburb of Beirut, which can prevent Israel from attacking," he declared.

The former presidential adviser went on to claim that the Iranians "have raised the level of uranium enrichment far beyond the level they really needed, so that when the level would be lowered, they would emerge victorious."

A Kuwaiti newspaper has reported that Iran and Syria are planning to re-route arms supplies to Hezbollah via an Iraqi airport, in order to evade Israeli interceptions, according to Maariv.
The Al-Siyasiya newspaper, which has expressed support for the Syrian rebel forces, quoted a top Iraqi official in the report on Wednesday. According to the anonymous official, Iran and Assad's forces signed an agreement in front of Iraqi government officials changing the route of weapons supplies to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The agreement stated that weapons would be re-routed through Iraq's national airport; the official claimed that the deal was made to allay fears of intervention from Israel and Western powers.
"The preferred route for arms shipments from Iran and Syria to Hezbollah has always been through the border between Syria and Lebanon," according to the official. "[However], due to recent events, there is concern that arms transfers will be prevented by Israeli Air Force (IAF) planes, which are frequently in the region."
The source claimed that arms transfers via the new route began over two months ago, when officials launched the first attempt to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah through Iraq. The smugglers made their way with the weapons from Baghdad's International Airport to the Beirut-Rafik Hariri International Airport, the source claimed, and then delivered the weapons to Hezbollah armories.
In October, the Kuwaiti daily Al-Jareeda reported that the IAF allegedly hit a weapons convoy from Syria to the terrorist group. The report said that the hit was on a single truck, carrying advanced and long-range missiles. It was the latest in a series of strikes which Israeli leaders hinted were aimed at stopping advanced, "game-changing" weaponry falling into the hands of Hezbollah.
The Shia Islamist group has played a significant role in supporting the Assad regime in Syria, leading to fears it could be "rewarded" in the form of sophisticated weapons, such as anti-aircraft missiles, which could pose a serious threat to Israel.
While the reports remain unconfirmed, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon vowed at the time to make sure that Hezbollah remained cut off from arms suppliers. "We are following the issue," he stated, "and continue to maintain our red lines on Syria - not to allow the transfer of advanced Syrian weapons to hostile hands, especially Hezbollah."

İran to attack İsrael?????? it sound to me like over ambitious that will never happen. İf İran could have been capable of attacking İsrael, They would have already done so.

Iran huo uwezo inao ila anahitaji msaada wa baadhi ya nchi jirani na Israel... na Tatizo kubwa analopata iran zile nchi zikijiingiza hata kwa majaribio tu hupigwa vibaya na kathiri uchumi wao na iran hana uwezo wa kuzilipa kwani hata yeye uchimi wake umebanwa na Marekani kwa Vikwazo... vita ya kisasa ni kuwa na silaha nyingi zenye uwezo mkubwa irani anazo baadhi tu na zaidi ana majigambo zaidi kudai ana uwezo hizo ni trick za kisiasa tu kwani zaidi anategemea uzwezo wa Russia.... ila kama ni super ring Iran hamuwezi Muisrael kwa Sasa... If one day US will step aside and leave Israel lonely in all aspects, the world will never forget the outcome. But surely, US will never step aside.

Israel ni jimbo la 52 la usa, na usa inafurahia israel kuwepo pale uarabuni, kwani inaitumia kuweza kuzi-control nchi zote mashariki ya kati especially waarabu. Kuishambulia israel ni sawa na kuishambulia marekani. Iran analijua hili vyema. Ndio maana kuna tuhuma zilizowahi kutolewa na sadam kuwa israel ina miliki nyuklia pale mashariki ya kati wakati nchi yake inakatazwa.
Haiingii akilini kuwa iran inaweza kuipiga marekani, vivo hivyo haiwezi kuthubutu kuishambulia israel.Iran ipo miongoni mwa nchi 2 zilizobaki kama muhimili wa uovu duniani(axis of evil). ni imani yangu amerika ingetamani kupata sababu zozote iweze kuhalalisha uvamizi dhidi ya iran muda wowote. mpaka sasa inachofanya ni kuheshimu tu maamuzi ya umoja wa mataifa especially russia. Mkuu nasikia nyambizi iliyo husika na urushaji wa SLM ilizamishwa kiaina - mpaka sasa si Merikani wala Urusi iliyo kubali kuhusika na uzamishaji wa Submarine ya Israel.
