Speaker Bio:


Diane Kohn is a lawyer, serving as an anticorruption advisor in the Crime Office of the INL Bureau. Diane’s portfolio includes work in Africa, APEC, Latin America, the G8, and support for implementation of the No Safe Haven policy. As part of her duties, Diane represents the U.S. on the Committee of Experts for the review mechanism of the Inter-American Convention Against Corruption.

Before joining the State Department, Diane served as Program Director for the U.S. Chapter of Transparency International. Before starting her work in Anticorruption, Diane worked as public affairs director for the Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (AACCLA), and Assistant Director for Latin American Affairs for the US Chamber of Commerce.

Diane earned her BA in International Economic and Cultural Affairs, and Spanish, from Valparaiso University (Indiana), and her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School (Washington, DC).
