Job Purpose
  • The NEO Sales Intern sells ENGIE Mobisol UK Ltd.’s Solar Lighting Systems (NEO) products, focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience and building a strong customer relationship.

Responsibilities
  • Closing quality NEO Sales
  • Ensure correct and right customer education is given to all potential customers.
  • Ensure customer records are stored in MySolGO app and data confidentiality is observed throughout the customer application process.
  • Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions
  • Conducting follow-up calls with new and recent customers in line with ENGIE Mobisol guidelines and policies.
  • Conducting outbound calls to new or existing customers for CRC sales processing.
  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships leading to repeat sales through strong customer relationships, rather than using high-pressure sales techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate call log and accurate reporting and qualifying leads.
  • Proving commercial and financial awareness of the NEO product bundle
  • Managing a team of a minimum of 5 NEO sales agents and ensuring they reach a minimum of 15 NEO sales monthly
  • Completing assigned tasks in line with applicable policies, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Seeking opportunities to learn and develop within ENGIE Mobisol UK LTD and through training.
  • Analyzing the sales funnel: Identifying the potentiality of outbound and inbound calls, and where they are in the sales funnel.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by Line management from time to time.
Requirements
  • A minimum holder of a Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • At least one (1) year experience working in a Sales field
  • Experience working with the Business-to-Customer (B2C) business with sales volume targets
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with many different types of people
  • A person that does not give up after facing challenges
  • A person eager to grow and learn
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Proven track record of going above and beyond to get the job done
  • Commercial acumen and ability to sell
  • Capacity to innovate and create new sales and marketing processes
  • Ability to build relationships and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to use own smartphone
  • Fluency in Swahili and English languages with excellent verbal communication skills
