👉In envisioning the Tanzania we want, fostering a society where every citizen has a deep respect for moral and ethical values, often inspired by a fear or reverence of God, can play a crucial role.
👉This perspective emphasizes the importance of spirituality and ethical conduct in personal and communal life. It suggests that grounding society in these principles can lead to greater integrity, responsibility, and harmony among citizens.
👉 It is important to balance this vision with inclusivity and respect for the diverse religious beliefs and values of all Tanzanians, ensuring that the society remains united and cohesive.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION.

👉
The main goal of religion is often seen as fostering a safe and harmonious world where people can glorify their God and live according to ethical principles. Religions provide moral frameworks and values that guide individuals in their actions and interactions, promoting peace, compassion, and a sense of community.

👉By adhering to these principles, individuals can contribute to a society where respect, understanding, and cooperation are prevalent, ultimately creating a safer and more cohesive environment for everyone.

👉When religion is misused, it can indeed become dangerous and have the potential to destroy a nation,.Misuse of religion can lead to extremism, intolerance, and conflict, as individuals or groups may exploit religious beliefs to justify violence, discrimination, or the pursuit of power. This can undermine social cohesion, incite hatred, and create divisions within society.

👉 To prevent such outcomes, it is crucial to promote a balanced and respectful approach to religious practice, ensuring that it serves as a force for good, unity, and peace rather than division and destruction.

👉The argument for completely separating politics from religion is grounded in the principle of secularism, which asserts that government institutions and their representatives should remain neutral on religious matters.

👉Let us check various things which is very crucial to argue with,
1. Ensuring that politics remains separate from religion helps protect the rights of individuals to practice any religion of their choice, or none at all, without government interference or favoritism.

2. When politics is interlinked with religion, there is a risk of policies that favor one religion over others, leading to discrimination against minority religions or non-religious individuals.

3. Political decisions should be based on rational and inclusive considerations that aim to serve the common good, rather than being influenced by religious doctrines that may not be universally shared.( Hakuna mitaguso wala dogma kwenye siasa).

4. History has shown that mixing religion with politics can lead to conflict and division. A secular government can help maintain peace and social cohesion by treating all citizens equally, regardless of their religious beliefs.

5. A secular approach allows for policy making that is based on scientific evidence and reason, rather than religious dogma, which can be critical for addressing modern issues like climate change, healthcare, and education.

👉A complete separation of politics and religion helps to create a more just, fair, and inclusive society where the rights and freedoms of all individuals are respected.

Tanzanians should understand religion, stop being drunk on religion, use it for goodness.
👉
Encouraging Tanzanians to understand religion and utilize it for goodness is a noble goal.

👉Emphasizing the universal principles of compassion, empathy, kindness, and social justice that are often found in religious teachings can encourage individuals to use their faith for the betterment of society.

👉Religious leaders should play a significant role in promoting peace, tolerance, and cooperation among their followers, as well as advocating for policies that uphold human rights and dignity.

All places of worship must be registered with the relevant authorities.
👉
Registering all places of worship with the relevant authorities can provide several benefits and help ensure that religious institutions operate within the legal framework of the country.

👉Registration helps the government keep track of all religious institutions, ensuring they operate in compliance with national laws and regulations. This oversight can prevent illegal activities and promote accountability.

👉Registration can ensure that places of worship adhere to safety standards, such as building codes and fire safety regulations, protecting the wellbeing of congregants.

👉Registered places of worship may be eligible for various benefits, such as tax exemptions, grants, and other supports. These benefits can help religious institutions for better serving their communities.

Religious teachers must be experts, at least the minimum level is one degree in religious education.
👉
A degree in religious education ensures that teachers have a deep understanding of theological concepts, religious texts, and the historical context of their faith. This helps them provide well-informed and accurate teachings.(Hatutaki mambo ya Shaka Hola Kwa Pastor Mackenzie).

It is important that places of worship paying taxes to the government, especially in their institutions that do business like schools, hospitals, factories, etc.

👉
Requiring religious institutions to pay taxes on their business activities can promote greater financial transparency and accountability, helping to prevent misuse of funds and ensuring that these institutions contribute to the public good.

👉Distinguishing between religious activities (which may remain tax exempted) and commercial activities ensures that the tax exempt status of religious institutions is not exploited for business purposes. This maintains the integrity of tax exempt status for genuine religious and charitable activities.

ie. aren't you selling us anointing water, anointing underwear, anointing cakes, anointing apples 😂😂, by God's right I would charge you tax.

TO SUM UP.

👉The government should not associate itself with religion, its people should remain religious believer, but the government has no religion. People should worship spirits, trees, God, gods but not break the laws and regulations of the country.

👉Government leaders should not use places of worship to do politics, if they want to preach they should study religion instead of using houses of worship for their personal benefits.

👉Citizens must respect authority because we know all authority comes from God, there is a super natural power that leads the world.

Sure thing, those who pray to the same God fare well in building that specific society. Now imagine all persons under a single God (which is actually the truth)

Exactly, the 'common good' is a language everone agrees with.

Divinity education to all who preach religion should be a must. Learned brothers are better than overzelous religious fanatics, they at least have a balance between science and mysticism also more important between their religion and others.

Actually I would suggest this starts early in schools, because the evidence shows more and more people are practicing religion as preachers and followers alike. So it is imperative the government equip all its citizen with basic knowledge of all the religions in this 'Philosophy and Divinity' all inclusive subject that will explore all religion and non religious beliefs.

After that, now those more interested can go on and get a degree in order to become preachers just like the essay writer suggested. Thank you Kiroba

Sure brother,I assume if everyone adhered to the same religious principles and beliefs, it could foster a sense of global community and reduce conflicts rooted in religious differences.

Who told you that citizens must have a fear of God in order for nation to prosper?

China do not fear God but they are advancing in technology and financially.

For the nation to prosper, everyone must do the work, either they fear God or not.

Some philosophers and thinkers tried to argued that all shared belief in a higher power can promote ethical behavior and social unity ie. Go and check for John Locke point of views.
Also i believe once I confer to many societies that have used religion as a tool for social order. Leaders often invoked divine authority to legitimize their rule and promote societal values, observe the prior ancient Egyptian under Pharaoh.

For the nation to prosper, everyone must do the work, either they fear God or not.
emphasis on prayer and work across various religions highlights the importance of maintaining a balance between spiritual practices and practical duties. This balance brings a sense of purpose and fulfillment, encouraging individuals to live meaningful lives that contribute to both their personal growth and the well being of their communities.
Example,holy scripture says
👉2 Thessalonians 3:10: "For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: 'The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.'"
👉Earning a Halal Living: Islam encourages believers to engage in lawful (halal) work and emphasizes that providing for oneself and one's family through honest labor is a form of worship.
So all this things go together!!!!.
Oral et Labora (st.Benedict a monk once said)

Why is it that godless societies are thriving so much in this modern era?

Oh, I know.... They really don't care about religion and all other baseless ideologies. They are into technology and business.

Religion makes you dumb and lazy, quite frankly it is a weakness.

The best move in Tanzania, would be to control all this religious madness.....

Registering every place of worship and limiting religious leaders to only those with qualifications is good, I agree with you on this....
Paul Kagame of Rwanda did this, I'm guessing he saw how dumb people were becoming.

I will be a good dictator.
Without dictatorship, there is no order, excessive freedom leads to chaos and uprooting of regime.
Rule of law supposed to be a 🔑, dictatorship is not a good solution to go with !..
where is Mobutu Sesseko ??? Observe how DRC is moving into this era !!,he is the one contributed in foundation

He was not a good dictator. There are good dictatorship and bad dictatorship.

Good dictatorship brings order and prosperity. It involves a highly disciplined individual as a leader.
