I'll tell you why I hate routine;
Wake up in the morning
get the kids ready to school
Hurry up to beat the traffic
Get to work sleepy and cranky!
Find an assignment that I was supposed to have last week
Work my ass off to please the unpleaseable boss
Get off and once again; try to beat the traffic
Well, where are the kids? Of course I have to pick 'em up
From extracurricula activites;
Get home; cook dinner; watch some depressing news
go to bed
.. and get some!
The next day,
wake up in the morning
do the same damn thing all over again
except this time more routinely
Make sure I return all the calls I missed while I was asleep
Check my emails, PMs, and sms
I still have to get to work and please the unpleaseable boss
Remember to pick the kids from their soccer exercises
Get home; help fixing the dinner (not the same as cooking!)
Watch more depressing news, and stupid late shows;
got to bed
.. and get some!
Another day,
The same shit again
Wake up in the morning,
Get ready to go to work and kids to school
Remember to buy a number of phone cards
Well, I have to make sure I check JF see whats new
and Of course got to report at Michuzi's
Would I have time to post something; of course I do!
Work to please the unpleaseable boss
Hurry up home; get the cards; call home while driving
get pulled over by a popo; get a ticket for speeding
Get home; who gonna cook? well.. we'll order some pizza!
Watch more depressing news; a woman got killed and grilled (without marinade)
Go to bed;
.. get some!
So.. u see, it all some kind of stupid routine
a routine that is life;
sometimes it is really boring and exciting
othertimes, more depressing and infuriating
A routine that we all live; some kind of routine
Like a script we are following; we can't get out of it
Hell; when you lose your job, get sick, lose a family member
lose your dog; when no power; no water or gas;
when that routine is interrupted; you'll know.
It is not as bad a routine as you might have thought
so.. go to bed
and get some!!
