How criminals in Tanzania are hiding in the name freedom of speech on a cyber space

Well said, you shut them off, they are all silent, Tundu Lissu Tundu Lissu who is Tundu Lissu
What is this nonsense mtu kapigwa risasi hakuna aliyekamatwa! Is he the only politician or person has been shoot in this world and his case has not been solved? People are gunned down every day, in UK, America not to mentioned our neighbouring countries i.e Kenya, Uganda etc. Policemen have been gunned down in Tanzania too, who is Tundu Lissu? We are fed up of listening about Tundu Lissu, he is not the only human being who has been attacked for the police to drop everything and investigate his case, when at the same time he throws abuse to the police force and refuse to cooperate with the investigators. Ouko the Kenyan foreign minister was shot and killed, this murder has not been resolved. Kennedy the American President was shot and killed the world still don’t know who shot Kennedy. Several policemen in Tanzania shot and killed no one has been arrested. Who is Tundu Lissu? The Tanzanian police force have better things to do than to investigate the shooting of Tundu Lissu who has refused to cooperate and always using abusive language towards the government, calling almost every one a fool. He has created a lot of enemies around him within in his political party and outside.

Using computer, mobile phone and any other electronic device for data, and voice communication on cyber space has positively changed the world particularly Tanzania. It normally took three to seven days before information from a person residing in Dar es Salaam reach to a person in Kigoma.

Nowdays the two people can share information within no time, people can easily links with their partners, suppliers, and customers, politician can link with citizen, news from media can reach many people and so on. On the other hand this technology poses problem on maintaining social order.

Criminals have coasted world billions of dollars and have caused instability in many African countries. Taking example of Kenya in 2003, politicians spread hate speech and fake news that brought instability in the country. It is estimated that more than 1,000 people died and 65,000 people left their home. Same happened in 2010 in Tunisia, and recently in Sudan where more than 200 people lost their life because of rising bread price, inflation and shortage of fuel.

If you look wisely on the entire situations from these countries you will find that, politician in support with foreign countries who are the enemy of the respective Governments are behind the scene engineering everything for their political remunerations.

In Tanzania cybercrimes are undertaken intentionally by the so called politician and activists claiming to do what they are doing in the name of freedom of speech. Politician in several incident have used foreign experts to hack classified information within the Government and post them on social media. For example Raphael Ongangi from Kenya has been assisting Zitto Kabwe to commit number of crimes before being evicted from the country.

It’s very obvious that, criminals work very intelligently with foreign enemies of state to create instability in Tanzania. Another example is the US based social media activist Mange Kimambi and her team Maria Sarungi and Fatma Karume who managed to mobilize at least 2% of social media users in Tanzania to engage in unlawful demonstration on April 26 2018.

Moreover, the country reputation has been destroyed by few criminals creating false stories and news about the freedom of speech in Tanzania. Politician like Zitto Kabwe,Tindu Lissu have been doing this in several occasion.

The fake news and rumors is driving conflict and distorting the Government image on globe. For example Tindu Lissu has been using social media to make people believe that, the Government was involved in his gun shot. He has been moving around the World just to spread this false news for political gain.

There are some other criminals who are hiding through anonymity tool such as anonymous accounts to communicate in secrecy through social media such as Facebook, twitter, instagram with the same message and make it difficult for law enforcement to bring them to justice.

The recent US and UK embassy joint statement is the result of false information posted with politician on social media for political gain. Their join statement has caused in one way or interference in investigation. We have seen how politician like Zitto Kabwe, Fatma Karume and Sarungi trying to make whatever is happening a game of politics.

To the extent that law enforcement agencies get difficult to obtain the evidence needed for a conviction or the intelligence vital to criminal investigations and sometimes add up cost for investigation. The law enforcement have been tried to use other technique to gather and obtain evidence for high profile people who hide on politician back.

We are aware that, war destruct economy in a very short time, but on the other hand number of foreign countries benefit from civil war, because they find market for their manufactured weapons, create employment for their people to work on refugee camps and steal our mineral resources. For example the allied military forces of US and UK in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Vietnam and Korea who have killed millions of innocent woman and children.

It is inevitable for the Government to have enemies, the 5th Government under President John Magufuli has put it clear that, we will never allow any body to steal our minerals, introduce and force their cultures in our culture. The Government should fast track the sim card registration exercise to reduce the cellular phone cloning, and cellular phone cards.

This will minimize crimes for criminals using fake accounts. More over Government should have stiff measures on that politician misusing the social media, security of our country with more than 50 million people cannot be compromised by one person interest.

Public need to know the official government account and way of communication, the platform should be able to communicate and give feedback.
It is our individual role as Tanzanian to condemn those instigating hate among Tanzanian, distorting the image of our country for their own interest.
Correctly and nicely put!
Domestication of foreign hidden agendas in the name of upholding human rights!
I actually wonders as those who keep in saying there is no freedom of speech are the same who are busy in ridiculing, abusing, and mocking the incumbent government blatantly.
