Singer Grimes and tech billionaire Elon Musk have gone one step further and applied these rules to choosing a baby name.
The couple have apparently named their first child together X Æ A-12 Musk.
Musk revealed the name via Twitter on Wednesday - although nobody's quite sure if he's being serious or just trolling us all.
If it's real, it's not entirely clear how it should be pronounced, or indeed what it means. Grimes has since stepped in to try to explain.
