Juventus have reportedly accelerated for signing Calhanoglu on a free deal and an agreement is close

Christian Vieri insists ‘many players, not just Cristiano Ronaldo’ will leave Juventus if the Bianconeri miss out on a top-four finish.

The Bianconeri face Inter at the Allianz Stadium tomorrow and need a win to keep their Champions League qualification hopes alive.

They sit fifth in the Serie A table, one point off fourth-placed Napoli.

The Azzurri meet Fiorentina at the Stadio Franchi on Sunday.

According to several reports, Cristiano Ronaldo will ask to leave Juventus if the Bianconeri miss out on the Champions League.

“For me, Inter will win in Turin and Juventus won’t play the Champions League next season,” Vieri said on Twitch during ‘Bobo TV,’ the program he hosts.

“Without Champions League football, Ronaldo will leave and many others will follow him, Juventus will face a severe financial crisis,” the former striker added.

“It will be a dramatic failure and many players will leave.”

Juventus will also play the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta this coming Wednesday and will face Bologna in the last game of the season on Sunday, May 23.

Milan halve losses and increase revenues
by Football Italia
Milan are growing on and off the pitch, as the Rossoneri have halved their losses and expect revenues to increase next year, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The newspaper reports the Rossoneri, who are one win away from securing a place in the Champions League, are constantly improving.

The reports reveals the losses were at €195m last June and the rumour estimates halving to €95m losses this year.

Even given the general crisis due to the pandemic, things seem to go well for the Diavolo, both from a sporting and economic point of view.

The savings on salaries have led to a €110m containment of the gross burden, while attention has increased on the commercial front, with the arrival of new sponsors.

The report reveals last season the club’s revenue with the stadiums open were €35m and next year they expect a return to €50m.

The club could get another €50m if they qualify for the Champions League and thus the revenues could increase by €100m.

Calhanoglu close in on Juventus move?
Football Italia2 Hours Ago

Comments
Hakan Calhanoglu is reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Juventus, although Milan could raise their offer if they secure a top-four finish.

The contract of the Turkey international expires in June and although Milan have been in talks to extend his stay at the club, the two parties have not yet reached an agreement.

According to Calciomercato.com, Juventus have offered Calhanoglu a €5m-a-year deal, a sum that the Rossoneri have yet not put on the table.

The two parties are reportedly close to reaching an agreement, but Milan feel they are not out of the race yet.

The Rossoneri have offered the 27-year-old a salary in the region of €4m-a-year and could raise their proposal if they snatch a top-four finish this season.

Milan face Cagliari at home on Sunday, and a win would allow them to secure a Champions League spot for the first time since 2013.

Juventus, on the other hand, may miss out on a top-four finish. They sit fifth in the Serie A table, one point off Napoli.

Andrea Pirlo’s side face Inter at home on Saturday and Bologna on May 23.

Di Marzio: AC Milan pull the plug on winger
Posted on May 13, 2021 by Rossonero

Signing a new right winger is a priority for AC Milan this summer but after Thauvin the Rossoneri are about to lose another target.
At the end of the season Samuel Castillejo will bid farewell to AC Milan. The €21 million signing has failed to live up to expectations since his arrival from Villarreal in 2018. Purchasing a new right winger is among the top summer priorities of the Rossoneri this summer.

Having lost Florian Thauvin to Mexican side Tigres, Lucas Vazquez is the new target strongly linked with AC Milan. Just like Thauvin, the Spanish right winger becomes a free agent at the end of the season and has refused to extend his contract.

Spanish newspaper AS recently reported that if Lucas Vazquez doesn’t his renew his contract with Real Madrid he “he will almost certainly go to Milan“. An experienced player with over 240 appearances for Los Blancos looks like a perfect opportunity for the Rossoneri but Gianluca Di Marzio doesn’t think so.

AC Milan have pulled the plug on Vazquez according to Di Marzio for purely economic reasons. The 29-year-old winger currently earns 3.5 million in Spain but is asking for an improved contract. Milan have offered him a three-year contract at 4 million plus-ads but the player is asking for more. Apparently he wants a deal of at least 7 million with his agents pretending a high commission fee.

At this terms the Rossoneri are no longer interested have started to look around for alternatives. There is no clear frontrunner for the role but Lille star Jonathan Ikone is believed to be Paolo Maldini’s preferred choice.

📰 @DailyMail: “AC Milan is in pole position for 2000’s Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu. The talent is also on the target of Arsenal and Tottenham but Rossoneri are reportedly in first line to sign him. Frequent contacts are being made between AC Milan and Feyenoord.” https://t.co/R5pAe7X1G7

🎙Massimo Moratti: ”Milan made a small miracle thanks to Stefano Pioli, a coach who was able to withstand the initial difficulties and then build something very positive. Ibrahimovic's start to the season gave a stamp to the group and it thought them how to win.” https://t.co/pCZLhiKPDp

📰 @Gazzetta_it: Mario Mandžukić unfortunately, had some physical problems that did not allow him to take the field with continuity and for this reason, the club via Aldo Rossi has already decided that in the summer they will not offer him a new contract. https://t.co/8mfBRIvSnn
