Milan have spent €90m this summer on Theo Hernández, Rade Krunić, Rafael Leão, Ismaël Bennacer and Léo Duarte. Each of them has signed a five-year deal so their total amortized weight on this year's balance sheet is €18m - all already covered by the Cutrone sale to Wolves.

Suso's €40M release clause for foreign club has expired on 15/7. Milan want at least €35M in order to sell. Lyon is the most interested club but the price is considered too high at the moment

Today's @Gazzetta_it reports that PSG are still hot on the trails of Donnarumma and that Milan could use the funds from his sale to sign either Isco or James Rodriguez.

Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno and could add Argentina striker Angel Correa to the deal, according to Mundo Deportivo.

- Agent of Angel Correa, Augustin Jimenez should fly to Milan tomorrow. The player's representative will attempt to unblock the negotiations between Milan and Atletico Madrid.

[Sky Sport]

- The arrival of Angel Correa will be independent of Suso's future. The Argentinean will play as a second striker, not a trequartista. The arrival of the 24-year-old would mean selling Andre Silva or Samu Castillejo.

Marco Giampaolo was determined to sign Ismael Bennacer this summer in order to build a ‘fantasy’ midfield, a report claims.

The Algeria international was recently crowned Player of the Tournament at the Africa Cup of Nations – which his country won – before completing a move to Milan for €16m plus bonuses.

The former Empoli man then went on holiday but is now ready to start his new adventure with the Rossoneri and will train for the first time at Milanello on Wednesday.

As per Wednesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marco Giampaolo made it clear from the start that he wanted to sign Bennacer.

This is due to the fact that he is a player who thinks vertically (moving the ball forward) and develops games quickly, and provides good technical ability.

In addition, the scoring opportunities for Piatek will also increase, with the Poland international appearing a little off the pace in pre-season so far.

It is not all about just Bennacer though, as Giampaolo is also relying on his midfield partners – such as Paquetà, Suso and perhaps even Correa – to provide what he needs for his system to work perfectly.

Milan look set to resist offers for Suso and Franck Kessie, claim Sky Sport Italia, on the orders of Coach Marco Giampaolo.
According to the latest reports, the Spaniard and Ivory Coast international are now part of Giampaolo’s plans for the season ahead.
They did enough in training and recent friendlies to convince the Coach and club that they should remain.

Suso has been repeatedly linked with a move abroad to Lyon, Sevilla or within Serie A to Roma.
Kessie was on the verge of a transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers before the Premier League transfer deadline, but turned it down.

Suso rejected all the offers he arrived including Fiorentina and Lyon and wants to stay in Milan, the Spanish asks for an extension of his contract that ends in 2022 with an increase in salary and that's why his agent is present today at Casa Milan.

Milan won't lower price of Andre Silva
Milan have no intentions of discounting the price of their 23-year-old Portuguese striker André Silva. Jorge Mendes, the player’s agent, is hard at work to find a new club for Silva, who is valued at €25m by the Rossoneri. The striker arrived from Porto in 2017, but never fully settled at Milan and spent last season on loan with Sevilla, where he scored seven goals in his first seven games, before only managing to score another two for the rest of the season.

Roberto Donadoni, a former Rossoneri player, spoke to La Stampa about Marco Giampaolo's new Milan: "I spent most of my career as a Rossoneri, but many years have passed, I lost the pulse of the situation. I hope that Milan come back to play Milan and I believe that this year there is a will to hunt down big goals. Giampaolo? He can do well ".

Stefano De Grandis, speaking at SkySport24, spoke thus of Suso and his new role as playmaker: "I trust Giampaolo. If a month ago they asked me for an opinion on the possibility of seeing Suso behind the tips I would have said no because he has always hurt in that role. But I adore Giampaolo and if he said that Suso is a champion and if he wants to keep it then it means he is doing well in that position. "

AC Milan are interested in Borussia Moenchegladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus, a report claims, but may wait until next year to move.

Two outlets are currently reporting the Rossoneri’s interest in the 22-year-old, who can play as either a natural central midfielder or as a more attacking midfielder, even earning the title of the ‘German Kaka’.
Neuhaus made 32 appearances in the Bundesliga for Monchengladbach last season, amassing three goals and nine assists in a breakout season after joining from Fortuna Dusseldorf.

He then impressed for Germany at the recent U21 European Championships, and as a result he has caught the attention of Milan, whose recruitment strategy appears to be focused on signing young players with high potential.

Both Sportface.it and La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that he is being viewed as a potential target for next summer, unless the club sell another midfielder this summer.

The Rossoneri leadership has already met the player’s agent – Christian Nerlinger – who has suggested the idea of refusing to renew his contract with the German club to try and force through a move.
Neuhaus is ‘very happy and excited’ about the interest from Milan, and a further meeting is expected in September to try to seal a future transfer.
