Hello JF,

Mara mtu akipata 'uteuzi' utaona huku Jamii Forums threads kibao 'tunaomba CV yake''

For what?

Maprofessor ndio wametufikisha hapa…

Hawajui narudia hawajui lolote zaidi ya theories walizosomea ambazo in current/Modern world zimepitwa na wakati…! LOL

Mkuu inabidi uangalie beyond CV nzuri, kwangu mimi yes Professor ni good qualifications because it means determination/Persistence/Discipline/Perseverance...

Ila kama qualifications zao hazijaweza kuwa creative na kutoa wanafunzi ..Innovators..then this is the proof tosha kuwa wasiwekwe kwenye serikali yako...

Kama unataka kuchukua professor yeyote then panua wigo,Maprofessor wale ambao wamejiajiri ndani ama nje ya taaluma zao...ndio wapewe priority...

yes,

hao wana uzoefu na 'field' hivyo watakushauri vizuri...

Rich-get-Richer theory...lol

Kwa mfano, ungemchukua Bakhresa ama MO dewj, ukawaweka kwenye serikali yako...wangetoa uzoefu vizurii...

Ndio ni matajiri, ila technically utapata ujuzi..as they are in know-how catergory...

Karibuni,

Nyie mnaosema najimwambafai..subirini hapo hapo..ninajimwambafai kwa raha zangu, So long as Maxence Mello na wadau wake wanaliendesha hili jukwaa...mxieeeeeew

Google’s holding company Alphabet Inc. has a new executive in charge, and while Sundar Pichai may not be as well-known as Sergey Brin or Larry Page, his four-year tenure as CEO of Google has taught us a few things about him. Here are a few things we know about the 47-year-old CEO:

1. He’s worked for Google for 15 years, and interviewed at the company on April 1, 2004, the day Gmail was launched. The Stanford-educated engineer reportedly told an audience in India in 2017 that an interviewer asked him for his thoughts about Gmail, but he couldn’t respond because he had never used it — he thought the product was an April Fool’s Joke. Pichai ultimately led product management and innovation for software products like Google Chrome, Chrome OS, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Maps and Android.

2. His four-year tenure as CEO of Google — which coincided with the creation of Alphabet in 2015 — has been rife with political controversy, both inside and outside the company. Pichai testified before the House Judiciary Committee in December about political bias, data privacy and developing a censored search engine for Chinese users. Under Pichai, the company has also faced an antitrust probe and dealt with ongoing internal controversies, including the revelation that it gave a $90 million payout to former executive Andy Rubin amid sexual misconduct accusations and its hiring of a firm that specializes in suppressing labor union organizing. It has also dealt with contentious debates around its work for the U.S. military.

3. Pichai bucked Google’s history of internal transparency and direct communication in rolling back the company’s all-hands meetings from weekly to monthly, and focusing them on business and strategy — relegating discussion of “workplace issues” to separate town hall meetings. Pichai has also discouraged employees from debating politics at work.

4. Alphabet’s stock has soared since he took over as CEO. The share price has jumped from less than $600 in 2015 to more than $1,300 today. Despite a rare 23 percent profit decline reported to investors in October, analysts have heaped praise on the company’s performance, specifically its bread-and-butter online advertising business.

5. Pichai is overseeing a massive geographical expansion in Silicon Valley and nationwide, with new or expanded offices planned in San Jose, Sunnyvale and Mountain View, along with Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington. The company’s total employee count has grown by about 28 percent in the last two years, to almost 117,800 today, according to data collected by LinkedIn.
