Ethical clearance for this study was granted by the Ethics Committee of Dar es Salaam
University, the author’s institutional affiliation, as well as the Ministry of Education and
Vocational Training. The study followed basic ethical guidelines for research with
humans. Participants were thoroughly informed about the purpose of the study and told
that they were free to withdraw from the study at any time without consequence.
Furthermore, participants completed the questionnaire only after giving full consent."
