Kwa mujibu wa Zitto Kabwe, mkandarasi ameahirisha ujenzi mara saba kwa kukosa kulipwa, hii imechangia Tz kuomba mkopo wenye riba kubwa ili mambo yaende, gharama za ujenzi zimeongezeka hadi kuwatokea puani.
Tatizo wenzetu walianza hii miradi kwa mbwembwe badala ya kutulia wawe makini kwenye mahesabu na kuacha misifa.

Mbunge wa Kigoma Mjini (ACT-Wazalendo), Zitto Kabwe, amesema mwaka 2016 alishauri haiwezrkank kujenga mradk mkubwa wa Reli SGR kwa kodi za wauza nyanya.

Zitto ambaye ni kiongozi wa Chama cha ACT-Wazalendo aliandika ujumbe huo katika ukurasa wake wa Twitter akimjibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Maji, Kitila Mkumbo.

Zitto aliendelea kueleza kuwa “Imewachukua miaka 4 kuelewa hili na baada ya reli kuishia Morogoro wakandarasi kutokulipwa na kuahirisha uzinduzi mara 7,”.

Kiongozi huyo alisema kuendesha nchi ni maarifa sio maguvu na ukatili.

Awali Kitila alisema hoja ya msingi zinakwenda wapi? ” Tunajua kwa dhati fedha inayokopwa inakwenda kwenye miradi ya maendeleo na inaonekana. Na wewe ulishauri kwa bidii kuwa tusijenge hii kwa fedha za ndani,”aliandika Kitila kwenda kwa Zitto.

Jamaa wamekua wakilaumu mvua eti ndio kisa cha kuahirisha ilhali walisema wameijenga milimani hivyo haidhuriki na mvua, leo ndio Zitto kaweka wazi, mkandarasi amekua akikaushwa hela.

Mkuu hilo tatizo la mvua ni kweli kabisa hasa kipande cha Ruvu hapo mafuriko hakupitiki.
Naomba pia utambue maji hayajafunika na kupindukia sehemu ya tuta jipa taitizo barabara ya vumbi inayotumika kupitisha wajenzi na vifaa vya ujenzi.

Ilifikia hatua hata barabara ya kuzungukia Vigwaza inayotumika pia na watu wa mradi wa ujenzi wa Bandari kavu ilikuwa haipitiki kwa mafuriko.
 
LOL na updates za kila mwezi hamzioni, progress ya mradi ipo mitandaoni toka mradi uanze kila mwezi update inatolewa.

Eti zito aliesema ndege zinazonunuliwa ni mitumba zote na ni mbovu ndio aongelee jema kuhusu sgr?

Huyo zito ndio alisema trillion 3 hazionekani

Meanwhile... SGR ya Kenya ilitengeneza faida ya KES 8.8billion, chomoeni vikokotoo vyenu wanakwaya mtuambie hiyo ni shilingi ngapi kwa hela ya madafu.
 
I have been telling Bongolalas in this forum several times, the only thing that will save TZ from this SGR shame is that Magufuli can hide everything bad about it and paint it a success and then ban anyone from criticizing the project... something which is impossible in Kenya.

Kipande cha Dar-Moro kilicheleweshwa kuzinduliwa mwez november kwa sababu mvua kubwa ambayo iliadhiri culverts na drilling ya tunnel hivyo kazi kusimama kupisha mvua.
 
Tanzania’s standard gauge railway (SGR) to undergo formal testing

Tanzania’s standard gauge railway (SGR) is set to undergo its first formal testing. SGR project manager Machibya Masanja revealed the plans and said the test will be conducted in May after completion of the construction of the first phase in April.

The test runs will be done for a period of three months before the railway’s official inauguration, which will allow goods and passenger services to commence. The country is constructing a standard gauge railway that will link Rwanda, Burundi and DR Congo to the Dar es Salaam Port.

Tanzania standard gauge railway

The first phase of the railway line covering 202km from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro is in its final stages. Mr. Machibya explained that phase one was initially to be ready in November last year but the deadline was missed when the drilling works for a tunnel near Morogoro, building of bridges and placement of culverts were paralysed by heavy rains. The phase will have six main stations at Dar es Salaam, Pugu, Soga, Ruvu, Ngerengere and Morogoro, with the Dar es Salaam and Morogoro stations being the largest.

Construction of the second phase of the standard gauge railway line covering 422 km is expected to start from Morogoro to Makutupora area in Dodoma Region. Yapi Merkezi of Turkey and Mota-Engil Africa of Portugal are jointly handling the first and second phases of the project however, separate tenders will be floated for the three remaining phases of Makutupora-Tabora (294km), Tabora-Isaka (133km) and Isaka-Mwanza (248km).

Overall, Tanzania SGR project will cover 1,457kms from Dar es Salaam to the shores of Lake Victoria and will cost $7.5 billion over the next five years. The Tanzania Railways Corporation plans to procure 1,430 cargo wagons and 20 locomotives for the line that will be serving the neighbouring countries of Uganda, Zambia, DR Congo, Rwanda and Burundi.
