NImelikuta huko nikahisi lina mfano wake Afrika mashariki......hapa chini ni jibu la mmoja wa wachangiaji humo.

The state education in the UK is very anti-capitalism and even anti-industry. From their first day at school to their last day at university, mainstream students in the UK are told how bad these things are. The US epitomises these things and, consequently, is held in very poor regard by teachers and pupils in the UK.
For example, we recently employed a Cambridge science graduate as an analyst whose job it was to study markets around a specific industry. She was extremely anti-capitalist and anti-US. She could not have been less enthusiastic about an all-expenses-paid trip to California for a week on business (that most people in my generation would have killed for!). She insisted on calling the US “Murica” and saying negative things about anything and everything American, our largest sales region. She told me she wanted the UK to adopt a fully open borders policy, allowing everyone in the world entry with no checks. Then we sent her to Germany on a business trip and she came back in tears. Suffice to say she was managed out of the company.
The problem is just ignorance. If these people visited the US with an open mind they would learn very quickly just how wrong they are. Sadly they are so indoctrinated that they cannot see what is right in front of their face.
