I think you are right, we need to get rid of one of the two. I know our reason for VP was union issue ansd the reason for PM was common law system. But the legal and constitutional challenge would be the accountability in parliament. If we have elected VP as head og government business in parliament then the two are infact merged and checks and balances would be tough to implement. We cant, for instance dismiss him/her because its elect post. So may be we need to discuss the possible set up, and modalities of getting there.
