It has been reported by The Daily News that GOT has decided to ‘retain’ 100% shares of the ‘defunct’ TTCL. I believe that is ‘shady’ deal. Having said this, I do humbly pose the following questions to you folks bin ‘wadau’:
    1. Is this deal a buy back of the shares by the GOT? If yes, what was the price tag of those shares?
    2. Who owns Zain Tanzania Limited? I know company promoters of the then Celtel Tanzania, Mr. Omar Issa had at least 1%share.
    3. Was the original sale out of TTCL shares viable? Who was the key player/s on this deal?
    4. Last but not least, is Tanzania ‘shamba la bibi’? What can we do to overcome this phenomenon?
