Ambassador Alfonso E. Lenhardt The United States of America strongly condemns the June 15, 2013 bombing at a public rally organized by the Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (Chadema) political party in Arusha, which according to reports killed at least three people and injured over 40 victims.

We offer our deepest condolences to the 8families of those killed and to those injured by this heinous crime.

This cowardly act follows the May 5, 2013 bombing at Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Arusha that reportedly killed three people and injured more than 60 victims. We call for the arrest, prosecution and conviction of those responsible.

Tanzania is a land known for its cultural richness, tolerance, and diversity. Violent actions of this nature, whatever their origin, threaten to tarnish and undermine the peace and security of this majestic land.

The United States stands as a committed partner to all Tanzanians and we urge them to continue to denounce violence committed by those who threaten the security of their fellow citizens.

Finally, we call on all citizens to build on the values of wisdom, unity,and peace so carefully nurtured by Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere, the Father of the Nation, which are forever enshrined in this nation's national anthem. Values which are equally cherished and admired by all Tanzanians and their fellow peaceloving peoples around the world.
 
Thanks very much for taking your time to sympathize with CHADEMA and the families that lost their loved ones. My appeal to the USA ambassador in Tanzania is to show the leadership in what is happening in Tanzania. This cowardly action is not the first one, and we are not getting any feedback from the duty bearers.

Does it mean that they are known and connected to the top government officials, We do appreciate if your office will be ready to support private investigations through your world class intelligence agencies like FBI, CIA and others.

Am sure you also interested in what takes place in Tanzania, you saw in parliament this morning the government statement never sympathized with the families who lost lives, and Madam Speaker says she does not have any information as to why CHADEMA Mps are not in the house today.

The Mtwara issue the parliament postponed the activities but because the Arusha people who were bombed never matter to the parliament,

We look forward to hear from you and other diplomats to condemn the terrorist actions believed to be reared by the big shots,

US benefits from conflict - prone areas in the form of selling weapons and employment of its unemployed labour force!

Therefore, don't expect much as for them its an opportunity rather than a true sympathy.

Ni ukweli upi unaopinga katika niliyozungumza? Tanzania kama nchi ina mapingufu yake mengi lakini Amerika ni wanafiki wa kutupa!
Walikubaliana na Russia kumaliza mzozo wa Syria kwa mazungumza, lakini hata kabla muda uliopangwa haujafika wameshaahidi kuwasaida silaha waasi ili wati waendelee kuchinjana!

pale hakuna cha wapinga Obama, yale ni mambo ya siasa tu - viongozi wa CDM walitakiwa waondolewe duniani target ikakosewa; too sad.

Hapa halaumiwi Mmarekani kwa lolote lile, lakini pia ninachosema ni kuwa sympathy yao is just political!

Americans ni double standards hao usiwape uzito sana kwenye kauli zao!
 
im very much disappointed with your deepest condolence wishes to we Tanzanians whether you really together with us or just jokes,you are the one whom used to undertake all security issues for your state. your president who wishes to visit us you said simply bcoz its peaceful nation so how are going to tell your boss now abt security of our beloved nation of Tanzania.The problem is that you ambassador always you are very hypocrite in making any evalution in any issue in our country how does it happen to you whom u support terrorists in syria while condemning the same incident done by the same affiliated people in one way or another.how double standard you American are,shame on you.we are not at peace nowday as we used to enjoy during those days that is reality you need to inform the world

Na kazi ya viongozi ni kuonyesha njia ikiwa ni pamoja na kuinisha nani rafiki wa kweli na nani ni wanafiki na kwa nini.

Hii ni Kazi ya Kikwete,Kinana,Mangula,Nape,Lukuvi,Nchimbi,Mwema,Wasirra,kupitia Mwigulu,nadhani sasa hivi ni vicheko vya pembe jino, uchaguzi haujafanyika,wananchi wamekufa,Chadema hawako bungeni,basi mulua walichotaka kimetimia

Kwa statement hii unamaana waKenya ndio wamelipua? CCM has to bare the blames! unaona kauli za makada wake zinaashiria ushiriki wa moja kwa moja, try connect the dots!
