Hivi hawa watu wamesoma wapi hii English? I thought something bad had happened to the pilot leading to clouding of the event!!

Big shame, but it comes as no surprise either, given rampant misogynistic attitudes and general anti-women worldviews among the majority of males in Tanzanian society.

Hapo mmeniacha kidogo.Tatizo ni lipi?Kwamba rubani kuwa wa kike nd'o kafunika hiyo sherehe ya miaka 45? Ama hao waandishi wanavyomshangaa rubani wa kike kwanza na umuhimu wa sherehe ya miaka 45 ya jeshi kufuata nyuma?Kiingereza kilichotumika mbona kiko sawa?

Hapa naona tafsiri za Kiingereza na Kiswahili hazitofautiani kwa maana kwamba "to cloud" ni sawa na "kuweka kiwingu"

Nashawishika kukubaliana na wewe japo kwa masikitiko. Ni ukweli ulio wazi kama usiku na mchana kwamba Watanzania waliokwenda shule asilimia 90% Kiingereza kwao ni tatizo sio tu kuzungumza hata kuandika. Kama mtu tangu azaliwe hajawahi kuota ndoto kwa kiingereza hataweza kuwa na ufasaha wa hiyo Lugha ya Malkia.

Asilimia hiyo hiyo hawapendi kusoma ,kusema wala kuandika. Wewe angalia hapa Jamii forum aina ya michango mkia wa mbuzi tunayopata kutoka kwa wasomaji. Je kweli mtu anayefahamu kwamba fasihi ni kioo cha jamii na utambulisho anaweza kweli kufungua komputa halafu akaandika nusu mstari bila kuwa na mpangilio na atakubishia sana ukimwambia au ukimwuliza kitu anaingia mtini.

Ufasaha wa lugha hupatikana kwa kuzingatia yaliyo ya msingi na kubwa zaidi ni kuongea.

Ni janga na ajali kwetu kwani asilimia 100 wanafikiria kwa kiswahili halafu wanaandika kiingereza matokeo yake ndiyo kupamba sherehe za miaka 45 kwa rubani wa jinsia ya kike kufanya manjonjo hewani wanatafsiri kama ' clouds'

Kwa maoni yangu tatizo linaanzia kwenye kufundisha, mwalimu anawafundisha wanafunzi tafsiri ya kutumia kamusi na hapo ndio tunasema ni sawa na kuanza safari kwa mguu wa kushoto itakuwa nuksi mpaka mwisho... Dawa tujipange hao chekechea wafundishwe kwa mtaala mpya na sio tafsiri ya neno kwa neno! Kwanza uliona wapi Jeshi likawa na siku ya kuzaliwa 'Birthday' hata kichwa cha hii thread ni matatizo matupu!!
