Fedha ya Afrika Kusini, rand, inaendelea kushuka thamani kwa kasi baada ya Rais Jacob Zuma kumtimua waziri wa fedha mwenye uzoefu mkubwa, Pravin Gordhan.
Zuma alitangaza uamuzi huo Alhamis hii kuwa anamuondoa Gordhan pamoja na mawaziri wengine. Wawekezaji walikuwa wameshaanza kuhofia kuwa Zuma angemtimua waziri huyo baada ya Jumatatu kumuamuru asitishe mikutano mingi na wawekezaji wa nje na kurudi nyumbani.
Hatua hiyo pia ilikuwa dhoruba kwa rand ambayo sasa imeshuka thamani yake kwa asilimia 8. Wachambuzi walionya mapema wiki hii kuwa kumuondoa Gordhan na mawaziri wengine kungekuwa na madhara.
Amekuwa waziri wa fedha kwa kipindi kirefu kuanzia mwaka 2009 hadi 2014 na kurudi tena December 2015. Zuma amteua Malusi Gigaba aliyekuwa waziri wa mambo ya ndani kushika nafasi hiyo.

Zuma's speech;
''I have decided to make changes to the National Executive in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
The changes bring some younger MPs and women into the National Executive in order to benefit from their energy, experience and expertise.
I have directed the new Ministers and Deputy Ministers to work tirelessly with their colleagues to bring about radical socio-economic transformation and to ensure that the promise of a better life for the poor and the working class becomes a reality.
The new members are the following;
