For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is very Harmful to have Cold Drink/Water during a meal. Because, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer . It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

French fries and Burgers are the biggest enemy of heart health. A coke after that gives more power to this demon. Avoid them for your Heart's Health.

Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack.
A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.

Matokeo ya tafiti nyingine yanasema maji ya baridi ndio mazuri zaidi. Nawawekea hapa article yenyewe pamoja na reference zake.

Water is essential for all life on the planet, which means you can't survive without it. According to the National Strength and Conditioning Association, you should aim to drink eight, 8-ounce glasses of water daily. This amount also includes any liquid found in fruits, vegetables, milk and other food sources containing water. Cold water after a meal has many health benefits and should be done whenever possible.

Hydration

According to Mayo Clinic, your body is about 60 percent water. Anytime your body is low on water, outward symptoms of dehydration can occur. Symptoms of dehydration include tiredness, constipation, migraines, kidney problems and, if dehydrated enough, even death. Water can be found in your muscles, blood cells, bone and brain. Drinking enough can help keep vital organs in your body working normally.

Digestion
Drinking cold water after a meal can help digestion. According to the American Council on Exercise, water helps your body absorb nutrients into the blood stream and helps facilitate the chemical processes carried out in your stomach. Without enough water, your body will have a harder time breaking down and dissolving food, which can leave you constipated during bowel movements due to hard stools.

Metabolism

Drinking cold water can also help you increase your metabolism. According to Cynthia Phillips, author of "100 Ways to Supercharge Your Metabolism: Get Your Body to Burn More Fat and Calories--Safely, Easily, and Effectively," cold water can momentarily lower the core temperature of your body. When this occurs, your body expends more energy--as calories--in order to raise your core temperature back to normal. This effect happens when you drink any type of cold liquid.

Weight Loss

Drinking cold water can also help you if you are trying to lose weight. According to the American College of Sports Medicine, drinking water takes up volume in the stomach, contributing to the feeling of fullness. You can also try drinking water during your meal to increase the rate at which your brain registers you are full. On top of cold water speeding up your metabolism, this can help prevent you from overeating and help you keep your weight down.

My take:

Perhaps the most important aspect of an athlete's diet may be his fluid intake. According to the University of Missouri Extension, an athlete may begin to experience dehydration after losing as little as 1 percent of his body weight. In addition to feeling thirsty, dehydration can lead to a number of potentially dangerous conditions. Because the body absorbs warm liquids in a different way than cold liquids, temperature matters.

Cold Water Is Absorbed Faster

While the human body can go for weeks without food, it can survive only a few days without water or other liquid. When you exercise, you increase the amount of liquid your body needs since you lose fluids through increased sweat and respiration. Additionally, your body heats up due to the increased number of calories you burn. Drinking cold water cools your internal temperature and helps it maintain homeostasis. Colder drinks are often more palatable and may encourage you to drink more.

External Temperatures

The University of Rochester Medical centers urges athletes to pay attention to the weather when exercising. In hazy, hot or humid days, your body could heat up faster than normal. Drinking colder drinks will help keep your internal temperature down and taste better when it's hot outside, which may encourage you to drink more. In colder temperatures, warmer drinks -- those at or about room temperature -- may be more beneficial at keeping your internal temperature optimal.

Hydration During Exercise

The average adult uses about 4 cups of water a day for respiration. Athletes and people who are physically active need more than double that amount each day. Athletic performance degrades after losing just 1 percent of your body weight in liquids. The American College of Sports Medicine recommends that athletes start drinking soon after commencing an exercise and continue drinking at regular intervals to help replace fluids lost during exercise. The College recommends that fluids be cooler than the ambient temperature, but they do not recommend icy or frozen beverages. Drink plain water for exercises lasting up to 1 hour and consume beverages containing carbohydrates, such as sports drinks, during exercise lasting longer than 1 hour. Avoid carbonated beverages, sugary drinks and highly concentrated fruit, as they may cause stomach cramps, nausea and diarrhea.

Dehydration

Staying hydrated, whether you drink warm or cold water, is important. According to the Mayo Clinic, dehydration occurs when your body loses more fluids than it consumes. Dry mouth, thirst, headache or dizziness can indicate mild dehydration. Symptoms of severe dehydration include lethargy, agitation, low blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, delirium or unconsciousness. Severe dehydration eventually results in death.

Iced or room temperature? When it comes to deciding between ice water and warm water for hydration, the good news is that in most cases there is not a major difference in their effect on your body. While there are some situations in which ice water may be slightly more beneficial than warm water, your main priority should simply be to drink enough water each day -- whether it is warm or cold.

Ice Water

Many prefer the taste and feel of ice or cold water, and it can be better to drink when you are exercising. When you exercise or are involved in intense activity, your body temperature rises; drinking cold water can help lower your temperature back to normal. This can be important in high heat or strong sun, when you risk heatstroke from strenuous exercise. In addition, cold water is absorbed more quickly into your body than warm water, helping you rehydrate more quickly, according to Columbia University.

Warm Water
Warm water is not necessarily worse than cold water; however, when you are exercising, it may not help replace your fluids as quickly and it will not have the same cooling effect. However, it does not make a significant difference, if you prefer warm water. Furthermore, if you have sensitive teeth, ice water may irritate them, while warm water will not. It is more important that you drink sufficient water to replace the liquid you lose through daily and physical activities, preventing dehydration, than that you drink water of a specific temperature.

Dehydration

According to the Mayo Clinic, dehydration can occur in any situation in which you lose more fluids than you take in - an intense fever, vomiting or simply not drinking enough water throughout the day. Dehydration can cause a dry mouth, a feeling of thirst, lack of skin elasticity, low blood pressure and elevated heart rate. Complications resulting from dehydration can include brain swelling, seizures, kidney failure and, in extreme cases, unconsciousness and death.

Amounts

While the amount of water needed may vary from individual to individual, the general recommendation is 8 or 9 cups of water daily. The Mayo Clinic recommends the guideline that you are drinking enough water when you feel thirsty infrequently and produce colorless or pale urine. To stay hydrated, you can drink a glass of water -- cold or warm -- before and in between each of your meals.

My take:
Kama nilivyo sema hapo mwanzo, cha muhimu ni kiasi cha kutosha cha maji. Ingawa bado maji ya baridi yanaonekana ni mazuri zaidi.

Du hizi articles zinazidi kunichanganya, maana mmh, haya nimezipenda zote ngoja nichuje mwenyewe sasa, ila kunywa majini in between the meals ndio siwezi hata.Otherwise thanks all for the materials,LOVE U JF!!
