Acacia does not understand the findings of the First Presidential Committee, which have now guided the findings of the Second Presidential Committee.

Below are some of the key findings that are wrong

The results imply that Acacia's 20 years of sampling are wrong.
  • Since discovery of the Bulyanhulu (1977) and Buzwagi (1999) deposits, Acacia (and predecessor companies - Outokumpu, Placer Dome, AngloGold, Sutton Resources, Pangea Minerals, Staminco, BEAL, ABG Exploration) have taken in excess of 1,650,000 rock samples for gold assaying from exploration drilling, definition drilling and grade control drilling, as well as, from face sampling in order to delineate resources and reserves and both mines.
  • At least 9 labs have been used for assaying of rock samples from drilling and face sampling, spanning 30 years, with samples analysed in at least 6 countries, including Tanzania. The Tanzanian Government has had full access to concentrate for analysis throughout this time with no discrepancies ever reported until now.
  • These resources and reserves, the Life of Mine models, and assay results have all been calculated, reviewed, and audited by Tanzanian and international (USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa) certified and accredited experts and reported under strict international guidelines.
  • This means the assay values for the concentrate, at the two different mines producing two different concentrates, as reported by the GST lab in Tanzania cannot be accurate as they would imply that the assays from 30 years of analysis at Bulyanhulu, at least 7 different labs in in 4 countries and hundreds of professionals from at least 5 different countries are also wrong.

The results imply that Bulyanhulu and Buzwagi would be the world’s largest two gold mines by more than 25%

  • Acacia wishes this were true – but sadly it is not the case that our mines each produce more than 1.5 million ounces of gold per year
  • Last year together they produced 450,000 ounces
  • Acacia’s verified data shows that the 277 containers at Dar Es Salaam port contain 26,000 ounces of gold in total.
  • The Committee’s findings were that the gold content of these containers, which represent just over one month’s production, totalled 7.8 tonnes (or 250,000 ounces).
  • In 2016, Acacia produced and sold 250,000 ounces of gold in concentrate from these two mines in the whole of the year.
  • For scale, Grasberg in Indonesia produces just over 1 million ounces of gold in a year, it is one of the largest mines in the world
  • Grasberg’s open pit is 3.5 km long x 2.5km wide and more than 550 metres deep vs Buzwagi’s pit which is just 1.3km long x 550 metres wide and 240 metres deep
  • Grasberg processes around 60 million tonnes per year compared to Buzwagi which processes 4 million tonnes
The results imply that Acacia would be the world’s third largest gold miner
  • The results imply Acacia producers more just three mines than companies like AngloGold Ashanti produce from 19 mines, Goldcorp from 11 mines, and Kinross from their 9 mines
  • If the Committee finding were true, why would Acacia hide this when Acacia would therefore be valued at potentially 10x more than they are today.
The results allege that the concentrate contains high grade of iridium where no royalties were being paid

  • Economic Iridium concentrations are only found as by-products in certain types of mines, they are never found in gold deposits of the type at Bulyanhulu and Buzwagi.
  • The alleged production of Iridium in concentrate per annum using the reported figures from Committee #1 would be 16.9 tonnes;
  • In 2014, the entire World consumption of iridium was only 6.1 tonnes with annual Worldwide production of less than 10 tonnes of iridium
  • If the results are to be believed than Bulyanhulu and Buzwagi would be producing more than the entire World’s PGE mining industry
The results allege that the concentrate contains large amounts of Rare Earths
  • REE deposits are not found with gold deposits of the style of Buzwagi and Bulyanhulu
    • Ytterbium is a minor component of most REE deposits
    • The findings imply that there 9.8 tonnes per annum of Ytterbium being produced; this would make Acacia likely equivalent to the current largest known producer in the World
    • Acacia’ believes that the Ytterbium is 1ppm or 0.0001% in the concentrate
    • We do not get paid for this miniscule amount as it is not commercially extracted and therefore no royalt

Hizi data wanazotoa hawa jamaa ukizilinganisha na taarifa ya kamati,kwakweli nashindwa kuelewa kabisa kiasi kwamba sometimes napata wazo labda sasa wakati umefika kwa taasisi za kimataifa zinazohusika kurudia kufanya upya upimaji/uchunguzi wa viwango na aina ya madini yanavyopatikana katika sehemu mbalimbali duniani.
 
Uzalendo kwa uongo nafsi inakataa. Makinikia yapimwe na maabara huru ukweli ujulikane ndio tuangalie suala la uzalendo. Hapa namuona magu akitamani mapato yote ya madini wakati kwa asilimia kubwa hatuna uwezo wa kuyachimba.
Viwanda vimeshindikana, ndege zinasuasua, treni pesa haijapatikana. Apunguze tamaa ya maendeleo makubwa kwa muda mfupi kwa faida za kisiasa. Ugomvi na wafanyabiashara wa nje ataiweka nchi katika hali ngumu kifedha, naye kisiasa atategemea zaidi vyombo vya dola na kununua wapinzani.

Mimi siamini data za upande mmoja lakini kamwe siwezi kusimama upande wa wazungu, nimeishi nawajuwa vizuri hakuna wa kunidanganya kitu.

Wekeni siasa pembeni, najuwa vizuri Lisu anasimamia nini na nawajuwa vizuri ccm ni wapuuzi watupu hakuna wanaloelewa zaidi ya ushabiki tu.

Ni Wabunge wa ccm wakimwagika mauno baada kushinda upigaji kura wa kuitupilia mbali rasimu ya katiba ya wananchi ya Jaji Warioba. Waliserebuka sebene ndani ya ukumbi wa bunge na kuwazomea UKAWA ambao kimantiki ndio walisimama upande wa umma.
