"Impeachment" discourse haven't been initiated now by the Dems! You shouldn't disremember that, they have been enmeshed in this delusion for three years. These latest moves are not "the first concrete steps to build a case for impeachment", rather the new steps after numerous failed attempts.Ha ha ha El Jefe, are you for real? You appear to be so out of date buddy. Are you aware for instance that Rudolph W. Giuliani, whose actions as President Trump’s personal lawyer have helped set in motion an impeachment inquiry, abruptly canceled his scheduled paid appearance at a Kremlin-backed conference in Armenia next week? Yes, Rudy Giuliani aka special State Agent aka Trump's Lawyer and of course Putin would be there...
Giuliani’s decision to take part in the conference astounded national security experts. His appearance would have come days after the release of a whistleblower complaint accusing Trump and Giuliani of pressuring Ukrainian officials for damaging information about Democrats. Yeah, chew that! The unfolding scenario has made Washington pasikalike wala kulalika, to borrow a Kiswahili saying!
The shadow knows best...make sure you have your pop-corn ready buddy! It is full steam ahead!
Updates: House subpoenas Pompeo and schedules depositions of five State Department officials...
The chairmen of three powerful House committees subpoenaed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for documents related to their investigation into President Trump’s controversial call with the leader of Ukraine.
The House panels have also scheduled five depositions beginning next week with State Department officials who would have knowledge of Trump’s engagements with Ukraine (including Rudolph Giuliani?) Who is Giuliani in the State Department anyway?
These are the first concrete steps taken as Democrats seek to build a case for impeachment.
More update: Kurt D. Volker, the State Department’s special envoy for Ukraine, who got caught in the middle of the pressure campaign by President Trump and his lawyer, Rudolph W. Giuliani, to find damaging information about Democrats, resigned his post on Friday.
It all started with a Russian collusion story, followed by the House, Senate, FBI and Special Counsel's probes. These were "concrete steps towards impeachment". You even wrote about them right here in your previous posts. Except they led us into the desert.
Every time these hearing against Trump starts, it all seem "new and concrete". But the extent to which you guys disregard them when they lead us nowhere, and shift to probably new ones is flabbergasting!
But I will say this, Trump's actions are not impeachable acts! The desperate Dems used that normal phone call to orchestrate a politically biased "whistle-blower complaint" in order to give "life" to their incorrigible witch hunt activities.
Nevertheless, the important question is, if there was any wrongdoings on the part of Joe Biden's Ukraine involvement, is it worth examining? If the answer is yes, then Congress should at least look into it, if the answer is no, then an explanation should be provided. No double standards!
Its understandable, Giuliani is on the Dems' spotlight, but he is smart, he can handle this.
With regards to the resignations, didn't we witness a similar pattern of people resigning during the Russian collusion probes? That helped inflame the case, right?, but was there any collusion?
Ultimately, I'll not be embroiled into discussing the updates of this TV show because I know exactly how this sequel is gonna play out and how it's gonna end, it is humdrum just like the prequels, but I'm just gonna eat that popcorn anyway.
