Samahani lakini nadhani hii thread lazima itakuwa mahali, humu.
Pamoja na hayo naomba kuuliza kwa ligha yangu.
Je ni muhimu uongozi wa serikali kuhamia dodoma?
Kama ni muhimu kwa nini haifanyiki?
kama si muhimu kwanini wanaenda huko kila mara?
Je ni kitu gani kitawanya waamue kuoga maji waliovulia ngio?
Yani kusema hatuhami au kusema tanahama?

Uamuzi huu unaeleza vizuri siasa za Tanzania,

Kwamba hatuko hapa, wala pale, wala hapa na pale, wala hapa au pale.

Mpaka leo ukitafuta mji mkuu wa Tanzania bado kuna confusion.Wa-Nigeria walipotaka kuhamisha mji wao mkuu kutoka Lagos kwenda Abuja walikuja Tanzania kufanya study, wakachukua makabrasha ya CDA na uzushi mwingine kibao, wakaondoka nayo.Wenzetu wamemaliza sisi bado.

Ukweli ni kwamba zoezi limekufa ila kibaya ni kwamba serikali haitaki kukubali. Nyerere was an agrarian chief who hated city life and used the excuse of centralization to "move" the capital from Dar to Dodoma, another idealistic pet project with no economic realism to back it up.

You simply cannot decree a city.Dubai, with all its dollars is risking building a ghosttown with permanent underoccupancy. Miji mizuri ni ile inayotokea naturally kutokana na combinations za geography na biashara. Tumeiga tembo kunya (Marekani na Washington, pretty much a planned city from the bottom up) na tumepasuka msamba.

Kukosea si vibaya, kinachosikitisha ni kuwa zaidi ya miaka 30 baada ya uamuzi hatujui tunakwenda mbele (Dodoma) au tunarudi nyuma (Dar). There is no worse place to be than the middle of the road and not knowing where to go.Like a deer dazed by the headlight of an oncoming car, disaster is imminent.

I hate to admit that you are quite right,
I feel shameful, like I am part of the decisionmaking team.
Why!!!
Whay cant we state what we want and implement it?
Is that a very difficult decision to make?
Moving back to Dar?
Are they afraid of the JKN ghost? I think not? Are they that weak?
It is sad to think that we such weak leaders.
Sad sad sad.

I'm afraid they are worse than weak, for a weak person can make a weak and clear decision.

In their indecisiveness apparently to dispell any notion of weakness, they are plunging the country into a needless and expensive suspense.
