The world's longest bridge is the Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge in China, part of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway. The bridge, which opened in June 2011, spans 102.4 miles (165 kilometres). China constructed the Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge in just 4 years, employing 10,000 workers, at a cost of about $8.5 million. It crosses low rice paddies, part of the Yangtze River Delta, with just a few miles of the bridge actually crossing the open water of Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou. The bridge averages about 100 feet (31 meters) off the ground.

The world's longest road bridge is the 34-mile (55-km) long Bang Na expressway in Thailand, a six-lane elevated highway that crosses only a bit of water, the Bang Pakong River. Constructing the massive bridge required more than 1,800,000 cubic meters of concrete.

Hebu kua kidogo, hapa hatuandiki kitabu cha madaraja makubwa duniani, jifunze kujivunia chako, cha jirani kunakusaidia nini wewe?! Proud to be Tanzanian. Tunajua wajanja wametuchapa sana kwenye ujenzi wa Daraja hilo na jana wametumbuliwa; lakini kama nchi hatujakosa bara na pwani; angalau tumepata daraja la kiwango cha kimataifa la aina yake na wananchi wetu wananufaika kwa namna moja au nyingine, thats what matters most.
 
Sifa wapewe wanachama wa NSSF, nchi isingeshidwa kulijenga kwa fedha za bajeti ya miundo mbinu kama tungekuwa tunadhibiti matumizi ya fedha za serikali na Ufisadi.

mkuu, bado hujanielewa....mimi sipingi ujenzi wa daraja ila napinga wingi wa MAKELELE tunayopigiwa kuhusu ujenzi hiko kidaraja cha mbao wakati wenye madaraja yao wamekaa kimya. unakumbuka jinsi dr makufuri alipowananga watu waliokuwa wakimkosoa fisadi dau kwa kutafuna fedha za wanachama wa NSSF. sasa kiko wapi mbona huyo MTUMISHI hewa ameumbuka baada ya vigogo wa NSSF kutumbuliwa kwa ufisadi ulioongozwa naye? hii ndio theme ya mada. usiwe kama akina FaizaFoxy, Ritz, Simiyu Yetu, MwanaDiwani, thatha, Tata madiba, Lizaboni, et al wanaosifia kila kitu hata kama ni cha kifisadi.

A step at a time, nani alikwambia mradi ulibuniwa kukidhi mahitaji 101%?! Even Rome, the Gizza pyramids or the Chinese great wall, the Panama and Suez canals etc etc were not built overnite or a single year, mambo ni hatua kwa hatua dogo, akili za kuambiwa nawe tia zako yakhe!

Ukipata jibu hapo then ujiulize jinsi wataalamu, 'wasomi', 'viongozi', bodi nk nk zilivyokaa na kufanya upembuzi yakinifu na kuridhia mradi wa mwendo kasi ujengwe. Alafu uangalie hizo sijui billion 500 zilizotumika kufanya hiyo kazi kwa binadamu wengine huwa zinafanya kazi gani. Hiyo ndio hoja ya msingi na sio zile hoja za kununua andazi kwa ajili ya kitafunwa ofisi ya umma kwa @ sh. 1,800/- na ukiuliza unaambiwa "hizi ndio taratibu za manunuzi ya umma na kama huzielewi hebu nyamaza".
