Kuna kampuni moja imedai imeshalijenga daraja la kigamboni, pitia tovuti hii

The project covers the feasibility study for the construction of Kigamboni Bridge in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. The bridge, which should measure about 560 m long, 14 m wide and is to be a 3.75 m wide two-lane carriageway with provision for cyclists and pedestrians, will be constructed in the Kurasini area just near the Tanzania Harbours Authority.

The bridge will be executed under the build, operate and transfer (BOT) scheme.

Huu ni ufisadi pyua!......How can one claim to have constructed a bridge which never exists?....wakistukiwa na magufuli wanalalama!
 
Hata hivyo, mradi wa kujenga daraja la Kigamboni ni mzuri sana mathalani pale mtu unapofanya tathmini yake kiuchumi na kwa jamii nzima ya watu ambao shughuli zao za kimaendeleo kwa siku hazikamiliki, au ni sawa na ndoto za alinacha wasipopanda feri kuvuka upande mmoja kwenda mwingine. Lakini pamoja na faida zote zinazoambatana na mradi huu, hatuoni kama serikali yetu ina watu makini wa kusimamia ukamilishwaji wa mradi huu. Kama ilivyokuwa miradi mingine, na huu hivyohivyo, umebakia 'mpango mtakatifu' uliolala kwenye mashelfu ya wataalamu wetu! Who cares, and why should you ever care? Kila mtu na hamsini zake! Ugonjwa wa nchi yetu hii isiyokuwa na MPANGO MBIRINGIKO WA MAENDELEO (Strategic Development Plan), ni kwamba watu na hata viongozi wetu wanapigania kufa na kupona mambo ambayo kwa namna moja au nyingine yana manufaa kwao sasa (have immediate effect/returns) lakini sio yale ambao kwa kuyafanya leo, manufaa yake ni kwa vizazi vijavyo (future returns). Hapa, ndipo tunapotofautiana kimipango na wenzetu wa Ulaya. Kwa mfano, wakati nchi zetu za ulimwengu wa tatu wanawekeza asilimia 60% na zaidi kwenye mambo ya leo, mengi yao yakiwa ni ya kulika leoleo; wenzetu wanawekeza nguvu zao na rasilimali zako sawa na zaidi ya kiasi tunachowekeza kwenye ulaji leo hii, kwenye mikakati ya kimaendeleo ya baadaye.

Na kwa hili tusiwalaumu watu wa Magharibi, kwamba wao ndio waliosababisha kudorora kwa maendeleo ya nchi za ulimwengu wa tatu kwa maana kama ni elimu wametufundisha, na kumbuka kupanga ni kuchagua. Sasa kama ndivyo, alaumiwe nani na aliyekuambia uwekeze sehemu kubwa ya pato lako kwenye ulaji na usiwekeze kwenye maendeleo ni nani?
 
Inavyo onekana hii kampuni ni type ya akina Rites india na Richmond. Wameweka picha za miradi mingi ambayo haipo na wanajitangaza kana kwamba wao ndo wameshauri utekelezaji wa miradi husika. Sasa tujihadhari na mafisadi wetu (CCM) make wakiona vikampuni kama hivi basi wanaridhika ilimradi tu wao wamepata 10% yao, ndo yaliyotukuta kwa chenge, rostam/lowasa n.k.
 
Hawa jamaa hawako serious. Mpango mzima wa daraja uko kwenye mpango mzima wa uendelezaji wa mji wa kigamboni. December 2009 presentation ya master plan ilifanywa kwa wadau ikiwa ni pamoja na daraja tajwa. makampuni yaliyohusika kuandaa yaliwahi kutajwa na wizara kwa wadau kumbukumbu ya kampuni hiyo sijui. Makampuni yaliyotajwa ni:

Mkuu nimesoma hayo maelezo vizuri kabisa, kabla ya bandiko langu la mwanzo.
Hebu fikiria hii scenario...
Kampuni imefanya kazi mbili za kusanifu madaraja (Kigamboni na Mkapa bridge). Kazi yao imeisha na wamerejea kwa Misri.
Baada ya miaka kadhaa wanaandaa brochure ya kampuni (na anayeandaa hizo brochure hajui chochote kuhusu Kigamboni wala Rufiji).
Huoni inakua rahisi kuchanganya mambo?
Cha kujiuliza hapa ni kama hawa jamaa walishiriki katika hatua zozote za miradi ya madaraja ya Rufiji na Kigamboni. Bado siamini kwamba mtu mwenye akili timamu anaweza kudanganya kitu cha aina hii.
 
Hivi kisheria serikali yetu haina mamlaka ya kuwachukulia hatua hao matapeli?
Ila sitoshangaa nikisikia kuwa kuna mkono wa kigogo wa serikali yetu.
 
Mie namsubiri Mhe. Kawambwa aseme kitu Bungeni, unajua inawezekana limejengwa ila sisi wenye dhambi hatulioni! Mnakumbuka ile hadithi ya Mfalme na Fundi aliyemshonea Mfalme joho ambalo wenye dhambi walikua hawalioni, akadunda mtaani uchi mpaka mtoto mdogo alipomuumbua?
