Waziri wa Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano, Profesa Makame Mbarawa, amesema daraja la Kigamboni litafunguliwa rasmi Aprili, 16 mwaka huu.

Amesema kazi inayoendelea sasa hivi ni kupitisha magari maalum kwa ajili ya kupima ubora wa daraja hilo ili kujiridhisha kabla ya kukabidhiwa rasmi Serikalini.

Amewataka watumiaji wa daraja hilo kuwa waangalifu, kulinda miundombinu na kuepuka vitendo vya hujuma ili lidumu kwa muda mrefu.“Daraja hili lina urefu wa mita 640, barabara sita, tatu zinapanda na tatu zinashuka, hivyo tunawaomba wananchi watakaovuka kuzingatia usafi na ustaarabu”, amesema Profesa Mbarawa.

Amebainisha kuwa Serikali itaweka sheria kali kwa wote watakaokiuka matumizi sahihi ya daraja hilo na kusisitiza umuhimu wa madereva kuzingatia sheria za usalama barabarani wanapovuka katika daraja hilo.

Meneja Msimamizi wa ujenzi wa daraja hilo Eng. Karim Mattaka amesema wataalam wanaendelea na taratibu za kulipima daraja hilo ili kujiridhisha kama linamudu kupitisha uzito uliokusudiwa kabla ya kulikabidhi kwa Serikali mapema mwezi ujao.

Amesema awamu ya kwanza ya kulipima daraja hilo imekamilika na sasa wanaendelea na awamu ya pili hadi watakapomaliza awamu nne ili kujiridhisha kabla ya kuanza kutumika.

Takribani shilingi bilioni 216 zimetumika katika ujenzi wa daraja hilo linalotazamiwa kupunguza kwa kiasi kikubwa msongamano wa abiria na magari katika kivuko cha Magogoni na Kigamboni.

Waziri wa Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano, Profesa Makame Mbarawa, akitoa maelekezo kwa Meneja miradi wa Mfuko wa Hifadhi ya Jamii (NSSF) Eng. John Msemo wakati alipotembelea daraja la Kigamboni kuangalia ujenzi wa daraja la Kigamboni leo jijini Dar es salaam.

Pamoja na kazi nzuri, hilo daraja limekuwa over valued for more than 100%. watu wamepiga hela. Hata media za China zimelalamika sana kwamba hizo company za ujenzi zimeiibia nchi masikini kama TANZANIA. This story I first learnt it in China media. Unfortunately, wengi wetu hatuna utaratibu wa kuchanganua mambo kwa kina wala kufanya utafiti. Kila kitu ni siasa. Wizi wote huu ulifanyika chini ya Dr. Dau as DG wa NSSF walio-fund hilo daraja. Lakini watakuja hapa wenzetu watakwambia Dau anaonewa kwa sababu Fulani Fulani. I wonder hizi simu zina matumizi gani...kama hatuwezi hata kufanya simple research kwenye google!

It is really tragic kuona kwamba watanzania na by extension waafrika...tunashindwa kupambanua mambo ya msingi kama haya. Especially ufedhuli kama huu tunaofanyiwa na watawala wetu. Deep in his heart hata Rais Magufuli knows kabisa daraja la Kigamboni is not value for money (and he has acted). But again..he can do so much as Magufuli.....

Kwa wanaomtetea Dr. Dau (nothing personal against him) I wish wangesoma Report ya CAG na EY last year juu ya ubadhirifu wa kutisha NSSF (hii Audit Report ndo imenifanya nimekuwa na "grave reservation" about this guy on his competency and integrity)! I am sure watu wangekuja na perspective tofauti. Unfortunately, wengi wetu humu we are gifted talkers! no research, no investigation! simply politics and noise.

And that's what our leaders want. Watu wajinga wasiojua kusoma wala kuhoji. and most of us have successfully acquired the mantle of being professionally and perenially stupid and useless to our country and our fellow citizens.

Naomba kujua kama kipisi cha barabara ya vumbi cha umbali wa takribani km 3.5 kutoka darajani hapo mpaka Tungi kimeshawekwa lami?
 
Hapa tatizo watu wamekula sana hela. Ila daraja liko ppa sana, jana nimepita maeneo ya kitup cha nasi biashara-kurasini zile barabara tu zilivyojengwa pale utadhani ulaya.

Subiri waje watakwambia lete source,tunapenda kutafutiwa, kutafuniwa hata kumeza napo ni shida.
Magufuli naona unachukua kurasa kutoka kwa shemeji hapo Rwanda.

Hapo ndipo ninawashangaa wanasiasa na wizara kwa ujumla, yaani Testing inafanyika kwa kupitisha magari maalumu? kweli wachina hawakufanya finite element? Vibration analysis? Bending moment? Siasa inatuharibia nchi yetu
 
Sasa mradi wa takriban bil 100 wanashindwa nini kuweka lami km 3.5 ambazo ni takribani bil 3.5 ambapo barabara hiyo ingeungana na lami ya vijibweni,ndio hapo watu wanaposema tumepigwa hapo.

100% is true, gharama halisi was 160 b, lakini ikawa 260 b. Jamaa wamepiga fedha ndefu sana, uzuri ni kwamba Magufuli analijua hilo tangu daraja linajengwa.

Serikali Kuu haijashiriki kwa undani katika kusimamia daraja hili. Wasimamizi walikuwa NSSF wenyewe pamoja na Mhandisi Mshauri ambaye hata "Progress Meeting" hajawahi kuitisha ili wadau wote washiriki. Hata "Progress Reports" hazijawahi kutolewa.

Engineer Msimamizi Mkuu ni NSSF, Mlipaji Mkuu ni NSSF. Kila kitu ni Wao.

Jiulize, NSSF ina wahandisi Wazuri kuzidi Wizara ya Ujenzi?, kama sio Maslahi yalitangulizwa mbele kuliko ufanisi wa kazi yenyewe. HILI NI JIPU KUBWA
