CRY O' A BELOVED NATION
There is blood on the land!
Dripping and drenching the sand!
Rivers of blood, in our neighborhoods
Gushing and crushing, Rushing and brushing!
Streaming pain, and redeeming gain!
As our children tremble, our Women crumble,
And our men stumble!
Cry O' A Beloved Nation!
From the North it flows, everywhere it goes!
Like wind it blows, blow by blow, it never slow!
A desecration of a nation
A damnation of God's creation!
A conjugation of corruption and abomination!
As we fall down and weep,
Asking God for our souls to keep!
Cry O' A Beloved Nation!
Our dignity assaulted, our humanity defaulted!
As the land open, blood falls in the deep
Gushing and crushing, rushing and brushing
Streaming pain, redeeming gain!
Still, we don't bow, not even now!
We hold our heads higher, our dignity even higher!
We look in their faces, we refuse to bow!
Blood in all places, no, NOT even Now!
Cry O' A Beloved Nation!
Our corrupt ruling elite, we denounce them!
In every street, we recognize their shame!
To their face we tell them;
We have made our choice, Hear our voice
By blood you've defiled our land
With tears we will claim it back
We reject your propositions
We despise your positions
The mentality of the brutality of your rule
The Reality and the inferiority of your morality!
In all actuality, we reject them!
In their totality!
We will not bow, not even now!
Cry O' A Beloved Nation
