The issue is not Zakumi against me or anybody else with different ideas/opinion. Tanzania never stopped looking for solutions to its problems. Last year we managed to solve the first wave of covid-19 and the majority of people were not happy in order to facilitate their own political agenda/ambitions. The same people are the ones who are making loud voices that the Government has failed to control the disease without facts.
The current wave will pass and Tanzania will be safe.
In regard to the vaccine, The Tanzania government has left its options open until the proper requirements have been met. All medications allowed in the country should be verified by the authorities, it is as simple as that.
We have decided to follow liberal democracy. In that type of democracy, there's a price to pay in order for it to work as intended. in short, the government should tolerate criticism regardless whether the criticism levelled against it is justifiable or not. For example in America there are a propositional number of people who aren't satisfied the way their government has handled the pandemic despite the fact that the government has instituted whatever it can to address the issue. The same situation can be said about the UK government or the one in Canada.
So, the question is why is criticism of the government a problem in Tanzania? If the government solved the first wave and intends to solve the second wave, why does it worry about what critics say?
