I can't tell you that with certainty.... But I can tell you for a fact China has more rail network than the whole of Europe combined.... More people travel by rail in China than in Europe and Chinese train are more punctual than European trains with the exception of Scandinavian countries like Netherlands,swizaland etc .... Of course Japanese trains are the most punctual in the world (on avg) and they use a completely different model than what is currently used in Europe....


I would say the best system is the one that results in optimal performance of a rail track... if I remember correctly our rail track can only reach about 40% of its capacity as is currently constituted... Both Tz and Ke will use less than 100 trains on their respective rails, I can bet you even the old traffic technology (when steam engines were usedd) of using hand signals to direct trains to different tracks and writing daily train schedules on a piece of paper would work fine and there will be no collisions or delays at all... I mean Even a trained 15 year old will be able to come up with a daily schedule for less than 50 trains and be able to account for everything .. on the other hand Acountry like Germany has more than 15,000 daily trains on 41,000km of track, you can't even begin to comprehend that on your imagination ...

GPS is an accurate positioning system that can be used to accurately and continuously pin point the position of the train as in moves along the track..

Kuna mashindano ya SGR photography competition hufanyika kila mwaka tangu 2017 ambapo wakenya wanashindana kupiga picha na mshindi atakaetoa picha nzuri zaidi anatuzwa na CRBC... Fwatilia hii channel uone cometiotion ya 2017 SGR Photography Competition

Mshindi wa huo mwaka alipewa 400,000 Ksh ambayo ni sawa na Tsh 9,257,080 m


The photographers were requested to submit their original works for consideration. The top 25 pictures and the photographers were to be selected for a chance to compete for the top prize in the competition.
The award gala to announce the winners took place on April 21, 2017 in Nairobi.

  • The top prize was KShs 400, 000, the runner up KShs 200,000 and the third position KShs 100,000.
  • There was also cash prizes for 7 auxiliary positions.

Sahii unaaza kuona Wakenya ndo wanafanya kazi kwa mitambo critical lakini supervisor anayewasimamia bado ni Mchina .... Baada ya miaka mitano ndo inatarajiwa wafanyikazi 99% wa kila kitu watakua ni wakenya ndani ya hio kamuni ya Kichina iliopewa kandarasi ya Maintenance, hio kampuni ndo itaendelea kufanya Maintanance and repair kwa miaka miengine mitano ikimanage hao wakenya, mda huo ukiisha ndo kampuni hio itamilikiwa na Kenya Railway......
