Amanbo - the first Sino-Africa e-commerce platform has launched its online shopping project in Kenya Nairobi. Adopting innovative marketing OSO (online + social + offline) mode, it offers online shoppers access to various items and directly purchasing from Chinese wholesale manufacturers and business companies.
Amanbo is created by Right Net Tech Co., Ltd., which covers the whole African market. Last year, Amanbo operated locally as Amanbo.co.ke in Kenya, which is a one-stop shopping platform with millions of items offered by a large number of suppliers.
“The two-way trade between China and Africa have been progressing for centuries, the rapid growth of trade is well known, but there is still huge market to be seized. Online e-commerce has became the norm since the consumer class has expanded dramatically,” The CEO of Right Net Tech Co., Ltd., Mr. Sunny Liao said in a statement issued in Nairobi.
Kenya National Chamber of Commerce (KNCCI) has signed a deal to bring Amanbo Chinese e-commerce platform into the Kenyan market. Mr Kiprono Kittony, the chairman of KNCCI said, “This online window offers verification for commodities,so that we ensure Kenyan businesses are getting authentic products which conforms to the description on the website.”
Amanbo.com has attracted over 70,000 active users among the first year. Meanwhile,Amanbo.co.ke’s users amount has been surging since it has launched, online shoppers can find 5000+ products from any category such as fashion, mobile phone, electronics, solar products, construction, toys and so on. The online shopping mall offers localized online customer service which is available in both English and Kiswahili. Local warehouse ensures the timely supply. Millions of goods are shipped from China to Kenya warehouse every day. In addition, sample showroom also plays a key role in the cross-border trade, not only breaking the distrust of online payment, also ensuring the product quality meets requirements.
