Tunaomba uthibitishwa kwamba fund za kuendesha Coomunity airline zilikuwa zinatoka serikalini? Kwa mujibu wa taarifa kwenye website yao ni kwamba kuna technical problem kwenye ndege zao mpaka watakapotupa taarifa tena. Tunashukuru coomunity air kwani wameleta ushindani ambao umesaidia kushusha bei za nauli toka 315,000/= to and flo from Mwanza to Dar to 185,000/=,hapa ndipo unapoona wezi uliokuwepo kwenye makampuni mengine ya ndege

Kwenye magazeti wanasema kwamba the running costs are too high hilo la matengenezo sijalisikia ila pia wanasema hawana uhuru nazo hizo ndege maana hata marubani wanatoka Uturuki na hawawezi kurusha ndege hadi wapate amri toka Uturuki .

Sikubaliani na wewe mtalaamu,kwa ozoefu wangu wa kusafiri na ndege,nauli ya kutoka Mwanza mpaka dar ni safari ya saa moja na robo mpaka na nusu na cost zako ni karibu dola 280 kwa wakati ule,hii ni nauli kubwa sana ukilinganisha na nauli za nchi zingine, mfano flight from German to Austria ni dolla 250 a journey of two Hours. Bado naamini kampuni zingine zilikuwa zinatuibia,kwanini baada ya kuja commnunity air nao nauli zao zikashuka zikawa kama za community? in maana nao wanapata fund toka serikalini? hata precision mabayo ni kampuni binfsi,inapata fund? Naomba majibu mtalaamu

Wakuu mi nimeipokea kwa masikitiko makubwa habari hii, maana Community Airline ilikuwa ni ukombozi kwa sisi watu wa kanda ya Ziwa. Sijui kama wenzangu mmewahi kusafiri kwa barabara kutoka Dar kwenda Mwanza na adha za kipande cha barabara kati ya Bahi,Dodoma mpaka Manyoni na Manyoni Mpaka Singida. Community kwa bei ya Tzs. 187,000(RETURN TICKET) ulikuwa unafika Mwanza within 1.30 Hours compared to a minimum of 14 Hrs kwa barabara tena wakati wa kiangazi not counting on cost of the fuel used na uharibu wa gari.

Hata kama maadui tuwaombee njaa, sio kwa hili wakuu. Hawa walioleta hii ndege hata kama watakuwa wameshindwa basi wameonyesha nia na kuwa inawezekana kwa usafiri wa ndege kuwa mzuri na gharama nafuu.Mi nawaombea waende kujipanga upya na kutuletea watanganyika huduma nzuri kwa gharama nafuu.

Airline cancels Turkish plane leases

Community Airlines, a local firm, has suspended its operations for an indterminate period due to the state of its contracts with a plane leasing company.

The company's director Anthony Diallo said yesterday that the withdrawal of the company�s two jets leased from Kegagus of Turkey was a blow to frequent fliers who had quickly been won by community airlines services.

The move also dampens prospects of even lower airfares for travellers as the airline had ended dominance by two operators, Precision Air and Air Tanzania Co. Ltd (ATCL).

More than 30 employees are also uncertain about their jobs as the airline�s management put them on half salaries.

The director said they were forced to terminate the plane leasing contracts because the charges demanded were exorbitant.

Community Airlines was using two Airbus jets that are classified as speedier and wider in capacity for that category of passenger planes, and had already cut down fares in some of its routes.

Mr Diallo, a former minister, however said plans were underway to resume operations.

�We are working on delivery of other planes at cheaper rates to continue operating. We were paying $500 000 a month to Kegagus for each of the planes but another dealer is ready to offer them for $250, 000 each,� explained Diallo.

Diallo who is MP for Ilemela said the company was moving from wet to dry leasing of the planes. �In the first arrangement we brought in the planes complete with their crew and had no direct control over their schedules,� he elaborated.

He said that in dry leasing, the company would hire planes and employ its own crew and take direct control on expenditure and operations.

�We are in business and what we are doing is change strategy. We have got a company that will lease us aircraft at half the operational costs we incurred, and this may permit further reduction in fares," he affirmed.

Commenting on suspicions that Community Airlines had failed to pay out its debtors, including the Kegasus Company of Turkey, Mr Diallo said that is hearsay. Those owed by the company have to bring their invoices and the company will clear their debts, and of course that is business,he declared.

It was Community Airlines who terminated the Kegagus contract, with some of the workers given half salary terms while waiting for other planes to restart operations, he added

Kufa kwa hilo shirika kunaweza kuwa pigo kwa Tanzania. Kwanza kuna watu wanapoteza kazi, kunaweza kuwa na matatizo ya usafiri na pia nchi inakosa tax ambayo ilikuwa inakusanya.

Hivyo hivyo watu walishangilia kufa kwa Scandinavia.

Lini mtaelemika na kujua kwamba biashara ni ku take risk? Kila palipo na risk kuna kufanikiwa au kufeli, kufeli kusiwe mwanzo wa kashfa bali mwanzo wa kujifunza ili kuongeza ufanisi.

Watu wanaocheka si ajabu hawawezi hata kuendesha duka. Diallo ni katika wajisiriamali wa Tanzania kuanzia miaka hiyo ya mabirika mpaka sasa, ni mtu ambaye vijana mnaweza kujifunza toka kwake badala ya kumbeza.

Ndio maana nchi inachukuliwa na wageni huku kazi zenu ni kucheka watanzania wanaojitahidi kushiriki kwenye biashara.

Acheni ushamba wenu na elemikeni, si mnaona hapa UK Nothern Rock inaanguka na kila mtu anasikitika? Serikali imemwaga bilions zote hizo ili kujaribu kuiokoa. Ingelikuwa sisi Wadanganyika, basi vicheko, ndelemo na ujinga mwingine.
