Some arguments! The Deputy Minister for Lands thinks tenants do not require protection when demand for rental housing far outstrips supply! When therefore would tenants require protection ? When supply exceeds supply?
If I were him, I would have explained the need to increase supply and use statistics to show that it is possible to increase the supply rather than zeroing down to the very reasons for requiring protection against scrupulous landlords who take advantage of the high demand!!! Another Economist with Grade A in both Undergrad and Postgrad in Economics this time (it is quite possible!!!!)
