Wakuu,

Nimefanya kufuatilia kwa karibu kukua kwa sekta ya biashara ya mabenki kwa Tanzania.

Binafsi nilifurahishwa na kasi ya watanzania kuweka fedha zao benki na kujitahidi kwa kiwango kikubwa kuchukua mikopo kwa wingi.

Kuna mengi niliyofurahishwa nayo lakini mengi sana yamenikera. Mojawapo ya yaliyonikera ni jinsi benki hizi zilivyojengwa kwa viwango duni na huku BoT ikifanya ukaguzi na kuzikubalia benki hizi kuendelea na kazi. Teller counters zikiwa zimejengwa kienyeji, na nyingine zikiwa na teller counters nyingi tu lakini watendaji wawili au mmoja.

Ningependa tujaribu kujadili na kugusia vipengele kadhaa ikiwa ni pamoja na:

  1. Uwingi wa benki na faida na hasara zake.
  2. Mikopo itolewayo na benki hizi na urahisi/ugumu wa kuipata
  3. Usalama wa benki zenyewe kwa viwango vinavyokubalika
  4. Wizi unaofanywa na baadhi ya benki ambao watanzania hawajaushtukia.
Kama kuna watu wana data za ndani ama hata wana hoja za kuweza kuongezea katika haya manne basi pia wanaweza kuongezea kwani vipengele nilivyovionesha hapo juu ndivyo binafsi nitashiriki kwa karibu.

Natumaini tutatoana tongotongo katika mengi na huenda ukawa mwanzo wa watanzania kujua utendaji wa benki zetu na namna gani aidha wanaweza kufungua akaunti wakiwa ndani na nje ya nchi na usalama wa fedha zao utakuwaje

Kwa muda mrefu sasa benki hizi zimekosa KIRANJA wa maana ambaye ni BENKI KUU yetu.
Suala kama la RIBA lilitakiwa kudhibitiwa kwa nguvu zote na BOT ili angalau wanyonge kama sisi tuweze kukopa kwenye benki hizi.

1. Suala la uwingi wa mabenk: Wingi wa mabenk unasaidia sana kwanza kuleta ushiondani wa kibiashara hivyo kupunguza riba na gharama nyingine anazotozwa mteja: Mfano, Ni benk moja ilianza ATM ikaonekana ni bora kuliko nyingine zote zikafanya jitihada zikaweka, kuna benki ingine iliacha kutoza fees kwa mtu anaeweka fedha nje ya branch yake (interbranch deposit fees) bank nyingi zimefuata baada ya kuona watu wengi wanaenda kule kwenye unafuu n.k so competition inampunguzia mteja gharama.

2. Sula la kutoa mikopo Kwa wakati: Hapa ndio taaabu kubwa ilipo, mabank mengi yameweka taaratibu za mikopo wazi, wameoanisha masharti na hata muda wa kuprocess mkopo. Lakini hakuna banki hata moja inazingatia huo muda. Bank nyingi bongo zinaprocess mikopo kwa siku si chini ya 45 hadi 60 wakati wenyewe wanasema 7 to 21days. Hali ni mbaya zaidi CRDB bank, Exim, NBC, FBME walau nimewahi kupitia huko.

Sababu za kucheleweshwa huku ni Ukiritimba wa bank zenyewe, Kitu kidogo(kuanzia kwa credit officers at the branch and HQ, branch manager, n.k). Kitu kingine cha ajabu mteja anaeomba mkopo anaweza kuwa ni mteja kwenye bank husika kwa kipindi kirefu bado anaombwa afungue account na bank husika hii ni kuonesha hawako makini. Wakati mwingine umeambatanisha bank statement kutoka kwao wanakuambia mbona hakuna hela kwenye account yako wakati hela zipo(hii ni mifano ya kweli sio ya kubuni). Yote unaona hakuna umakini kwenye hilo.

Usalama hapa unaozungumzia hapa sijui ni upi: Usalama kwa maana ya fedha zako unazoweka bank, naweza kusema ni salama 100% kwa maana kila bank inayo insurance against all deposits, hata kama umeweka hela sasa hivi wezi wakaiba zote bado uko entitled kupewa hela zako. But ukiibiwa kabla hujadeposit hata kama uko ndani ya bank hizo bado ziko mikononi mwako hutolipwa.

usalama kwa maana ya jengo la bank na mali zake nadhani ni jukumu la bank husika pamoja na insurers kuona kwamba hakuna risk kubwa pale bank ilipofunguliwa.

Invisible nashukuru sana kwa mada hii,mimi nilishawahi kuleta mada kama hii hapa ila si kitu, sasa mimi katika yote yaliyosemwa hapo juu swala la wafanyakazi wa haya mabank kutokuwa na nidhamu kwa wateja aisee ni bora uweke hela nyumbani mana unaweza pewa majibu au huduma ambayo nikama umekwenda kuwasumbua pale wakati umewapelekea mishara wao kwa kuwako pale, mfano mtu unataka kujua utaratibu wa mikopo basi huyo mtu utakaye mkuta hapo kwa dharau atakayo kuangalia nayo kama vile yani wewe una uwezo gani wakuja na kuomba mkopo sasa hawajui wengine ni akina nani wanavo onyesha attitudes zao za kienyeji!!!!

Swala lingine ATM za hizi mabank utakuta sehemu nyinge hazifanyi kazi hata wiki kadhaa sasa sijui wahusika katika hizo banks wanakua wanafuatilia ama ndio kama kawaida yetu subiri subiri nitaenda ipo katika wafanyakazi sasa mtu unasomea fani fulani then haufanyi kile ulichosomea inasikitisha, ninarafiki zangu wakutoka nje ya nchi yani sasa wamechoka hata kuongelea kuhusu huduma zitolewazo huko bank inatia haibu kwakweli.

Kwamimi nafikiri tunahiataji kuwekeza sana katika human resource.

Sera ya mikopo ktk hizo bank ni mbovu, yakifisadi, yakidhalilishaji na vyovyote vile uwezavyo kusema!

Huna pesa ndio maana unakopa. Una-colateral ya uhakika. Majibu utapewa kuwa huna financial flow nzuri! Lakini si ndio maana unakopa!

Maafisa wengi wa bank ni wala rushwa ndio maana ktk kazi zao utakuta wanaangalia waki-process mkopo kuna possibility ya kupata chochote au la.

Baadhi ya bank kwa udhalilishaji wao, tunaomba MUNGU awadhibu kwa hali zozote mbaya nao waondoke ktk business, HASA CRDB!

ur right abt CRDB, Ndg hapo juu, na kuhusu kuheshimu muda wa ku process mkopo hadi uje kuupata ni kweli muda huu haueshimiwi, mimi binafsi unakatika mwezi sasa tangu nipeleke maombi yangu, kuhusu customer service/care i have to give it to some of the Barclays bank staff kuwa ukienda unapewa huduma nzuri, na wanachangamkia wateja, wana ile theme yao ya kutabasamu kwa wateja, safi sana. Hii ni kitu muhimu katika biashara yoyote.

KIngine kinacho tia kichefu chefu mchezo mchafu wa mateller kula dili na baadhi ya wateja kupewa upendeleo katika huduma uswahili tunasema kupiga bao mtu anakuja amechelewa yupo nyuma kisha anapewa huduma wengine tumebaki kwenye foleni yeye hata foleni hapangi anaunga moja kwa moja nilipo jaribu kufuatilia hii ishu kumbe jamaa iwa wanatoa TAKRIMA kati ya 5000 au 10000 wahudumiwe faster.mmmmh yaani.!!!

Kwanza nampongeza Mkuu Inv kwa kuweka hii thread katika kipindi ambacho na mimi ni muathirika wa tatizo la ukiritimba na udhaifu mkubwa wa mabenki yetu mengi. Nimegundua mabenki yale yenye majina, CRDB, NBC, Barcklays, Standard Chartered etc yana tatizo kubwa la ukiritimba na zaidi rushwa (hadi ya ngono-NBC), ubinafsi na hata ubabaishaji mkubwa jambo ambalo unaweza kujiuliza hawa wanapokopesha wanapata faida ama hasara? Unagundua kwamba wale wanaowazungusha na hata kuwanyima ni wale waaminifu na wahalifu ndio wanapewa alimradi tu wanakuwa wamenufaika. Mfano wa karibuni Barclays wamewanyima wengi ambao ni waaminifu na badaye wakawapa matapeli katika tawi lao la Alpha House ambao waliwaliza, Standard chartered miaka miwili iliyopita walitoa hadi 800m kwa watu hewa lakini waliwanyima watu wengi waaminifu. NBC tunaambiwa makao makuu kuna mtu anaomba rushwa hadi ya NGONO kwa wateja wanaoomba mikopo. Hii ni aibu na inachochea ufisadi kwa watumishi wa umma wanaotaka kupata fedha kwa njia halali.... Lazima kuna watu ambayo wamepatwa na mkasa kama huu wa kwangu lakini hawakuweza kugundua.

1. NMB: Hakuna neno foleni kuwa masaa 2 au 10. Mtasubiri tu. Mara nyingi Customer care Meneja wa Bank House anafuatwa na wateja kuambiwa mbona tumekaa sana. Anasema "Foleni inaenda acheni kulalamika". Utakuta mtu anataka huduma na hawa watu wa customer care hawana clue na product zao. Kwa mfano kuna siku mteja alitaka kufungua "foreign account" akaambiwa nenda urudi jumatatu leo muhusika hayupo. Jamaa alihitaji angalau ajue ni vitu gani anahitaji. Akajibiwa " Ukija hiyo jumatatu utaelezwa". What a waste ! Sometimes huwa sielewi ni kazi za bank managers! Yaani kazi yao kubwa ni kukaa kwenye vyumba vya viyoyozi tu.Tena hawa NMB wanaishi kwa neema kama sio serikali kuwa na akaunti zake huko..na walimu na wengineyo . Ni benki yenye huduma mbovu sana. Lazima NMB wajirekebishe!

Hata hivyo bravo to Barclays...customer care service yao ni nzuri. [B]Ila kuna ka attitude cha [/B]kudharau watu...hasa wakikuona umevaa vitenge vya kitchen party. Nawashangaa huko Magomeni na Kinondoni na Buguruni watapata wateja gani. Au mtuambie basi kwamba tawi la opposite Movenpick ni reserved kwa wahindi na wazungu!

2.CBA: Mikopo ya nyumba 100%...wametoa matangazo kibao. Hembu nenda...hakuna kinachoendelea. Huyo dada mwenyewe muhusika ukimwuliza maswali ni kama unamsumbua. Sasa kama hamko tayari kutoa huduma ...matangazo ya nini?

3.BOA: Eti "Equipment Loan" hawana tangible information. Mtu anakwambia eti nenda kwanza kaanze biashara ndio uje kuomba mkopo....Lakini wengine wanapewa. Sasa kama unataka rushwa si useme tu?

4. EXIM : Benki ambayo mhindi ni "royal" na wengine wote wanafuatia. Upendeleo wao kwa wahindi ni dhahiri.Au ndio principal zao?
5. AZANIA: Angalau unaona hapa watanzania wanajaribu kufanya kitu fulani. Hii ni mojawapo ambayo mteja anapewa taarifa sahihi na karibu kila muhusika na vipeperushi.

6. CRDB:Benki inayoenda kwa mazoea wateja wapo...tuna mtaji mkubwa...bla bla bla hawana jipya. Hawana haraka.
Huo ndio uzoefu wangu..nina mifano mingine mingi tu.

Uki save 1,000,000 kwa mwka mzima itazaa 10,000/=
But ukikopa 1,000,000 unarudisha 1,200,000/=

Huu ni wizi mkubwa sana maana tunapo save hela bank na sie tunakua tumeikopesha bank,

Anyway no way out since wenye nazo ndio wako madarakani ni ndio waamuzi wa maswala ya watanzania

Mkuu si utaje hiyo BANK kusudi tuwe makini nayo...au hutaki watu tuifahamu?Hapa nikuelimishana hakuna kingine.
EXIM BANK n inakuwa between 06.00pm-09.00pm...ni mida mibaya sana kutumia ATM zao lazima watakuliza..sababu zao wanasema ni muda wa kufanya back-ups...personally imeshanitokea twice...

NBC kuna mama mmoja nadhani ukiwa na cheque lazima upitie kwake kwa ajili ya muhuri na mambo mengine, huyo mama ni mtu mzima lakini anaringa huyo na ni kiburi sana, siku moja baba ( mteja) alimjia juu yule mama unajua alimjibuje ' NENDA KAMWAMBIE MANAGER, PANDA JUU MLANGO NAMBA FULANI' nilichoka.

CRDB kuna dada mmoja naona kazi yake ni kupiga picha kwa wateja wanaofungua new account. yule dada anatia hasira sana anadharau hadi basi.


Yaani kwenye haya mabank kuna matatizo sana.

NBC: wanafuata...sheria na katiba ya Kaburu! Anza kazi....subiri watu wa South Africa waamke! What a joke? Kila saa system iko down. Niliacha kabisa kudhuria hiki kijiwe cha NBC...foleni ni kama kazi.
Kuna wakati ATM kadi zao zilikuwa za "poor quality" ila hawana mjadala kabinti kanakwambia "mama unaweka kadi yako vibaya". Ikiwa umeharibika unalipia tsh 10,000/=! Ukichelewa mlinzi hataki mchezo hata kama ni dakika 1. Ila kama unajua mtu ndani...mpatie kitu kidogo na daima utahudumiwa hata kama umefika saa 11 na nusu jioni. Tulia tu utaletewa pesa.

Kitu kingine nichong'amua ni kwamba "neno Customer care" linatumiwa tu bila hata kujua maanake in most of the banks. Mtu alikuwa tu tela anapewa u customer care manager...hana a wala b. Tena saa nyingine yeye ndio "mkuu wa lugha chafu kwa wateja"!
