What disturbs me is tz has all these buildings being constructed by the state for national pride/offices for its state corporations with minimal economic ripple down effect.. They can really mislead on the real state and health of the economy. A healthy economy is where the private sector is able and seen investing in the real estate sector as there is guaranteed return from sale/lease to thriving enterprises and individuals. Government does not need returns to build. I think Tanzanians need an honest conversation about the state of the economy.

Many biggest companies in China are owned by the state
